This was a great episode, Sylar the hunter is suddenly prey as without his powers Noah is deadlier and it's great seeing Noah on the hunt. Meanwhile Claire who's usually immortal is dying because without her healing powers her body can't fight off basic germs and viruses. Then they both die but the Eclipse ends reactivating their powers and bringing them back to life. Bit of a Deus Ex Machina though seeing how the Haitan's power deactivates powers but once he allows you to be killed you stay dead.
If you are refearing to when the Haitian and Peter tried to kill Arthur it was Sylar placing the bullet in the soft spot that killed Arthur and not the Haitians abilities
@@erikpersson2047 This is also how Claire killed Future Peter, the Haitian was there and Future Peter wasn't even shot in the head. Bare in mind, Future Peter had Claire's healing power.
@@erikpersson2047 No worries, you were probably right about Sylar and Arthur. To be honest the writing isn't that consistent, if the Haitian can neutralise healing you'd think they'd attempt to use it more. It lead to a great episode but I wish they'd establish rules and stick to it.
I always thought Heroes had too many plots per season. Season 1 - Should've ended with saving the cheerleader at the high-school Season 2 - Should've begun with Peter's premonition of the bomb and ended with Sylar's death at the plaza. Season 3 - Would've been real life season 2 All stretched out longer so we have more time to enjoy each character and story.

not everyone from original cast wanted to come back, so they've come up with bs to cover it up. Overall, I prefer to think that reborn was not ever produced and aired.
@@newsylar Exactly BUT CLAIR COULD HAVE BEEN IN HIDING, it would have been perfect, Her son could have had a chip on his shoulder about it, want to fix things so that his mom could finally come OUT of hiding and come home, it would have made perfect sense since CLAIR JUMPED to her death in front of everyone exposing them, so it would make sense that she had regret with what happened to the world and had to go into hiding, the dad could have assumed her dead or missing but at the end they could have confirmed her alive and able to come home! The show wouldn't shut up about claire anyway so they could have made her the same plot just alive!
@@jsbaldo5556 except the actress didn't want to have anything with the reborn series, so they couldn't do any of that. Overall despite this show being very good and popular at the beginning, it also was very unlucky till the end. @@michonnewalker4246 Because they got rid of the original cast and the show kinda had a teenage drama feel to it which really doesn't suit what the original show was like.
They captured lightning in a bottle with the first couple of seasons, the plot was interesting and the actors were great & very charismatic, plus the writing and dialogues were awesome, unfortunately the later seasons ran out of creativity (plus most of the cast had left, some others had other projects) and the revival attempt was a sad failure. I don't think we'll see a show like heroes ever again.
@@D3K018 I really only think the 1st season was great. The 2nd and 3rd were meh and the last was just awful. To me part of the problem was tying themselves down to the old cast. The original idea was to get a new cast every season but since the OG were such fan favorites they had no choice but to draw their stories out and milk them dry. Also they faced a writing strike in season 2 and characters like Hiro, Sylar, Parkman, and Peter were just grossly overpowered. And the budget couldn't really support the action the creators wanted so that was another thing that kind of ruined the show.
The pointless retconning of Peter's OG Power, never sat well with me... then they gave him back a way shittier version of his power... Peter was always a carbon copy of Sylar... just a version of Sylar that didn't go darkside!
Wait, was this the episode when there was a worldwide eclipse? That may have been the moment when I admitted that the show had lost any credibility it might have had.
Eclipse = No powers for anyone. Once the eclipse ended, everyone's powers came back. I don't think any of the characters knew the reason why before, during, or after and it was never really brought up again outside of this episode.
By the time it was over...that's when I started binging...It took me and the kids 4 weeks straight when we watched this show. it was incredible!

I actually enjoyed season 1 because of the fact how much was going on. It was very intense, no filler and that was interesting.
