@@IAmAdamTaylor No, the ability to no longer feel pain was just a natural progression of her ability. With that and regeneration she can tank basically any attack that doesn't decapitate her or hit her brain stem.

Doesn't the mom need oxygen to breathe? Why is Claire, who has super healing abilities, the one gasping for air cause the oxygen is being "burned up" but the mom doesn't mind the lack of oxygen? Seems kind of strange. The mom not being bothered by heat/fire I get, but she should at be struggling to breathe just as much as Claire if it's hurting her that bad
Meredith's fire abilities seem to provide her with some leeway for surviving fiery situations beyond just heat, but they do have limits as demonstrated when Sylar somehow triggered her to explode.
@@mnomadvfx This, but also illogical because fire needs a fuel (oxygen) to burn. Unless her ability is to produce an alternative fuel source? Yesn't. The market is pretty much suffering supe overdose. They need to let it cool off for a few years and then try again. I wish they would’ve had Claire train more like why not focus on something more interesting like that? It would’ve been cool 😎

They really should have focused on Claire doing some intense training. With her abilities it would have made her intimidating.
