Steering & Camera Doublebind Glitch Fix - The Crew 2 PC

I ran into a very odd glitch at the start of The Crew 2 that makes the game nearly impossible to play. If you’re playing The Crew 2 on the PC using a controller, and the vehicle camera turns when you are trying to steer the vehicle itself, here’s how you fix it:
(If playing via Uplay)
Simply exit Steam
(If playing via Steam)
Go to Steam (top left), settings, controller, general controller settings, then disable the auto controller configuration

if youre still having this problem than go in to steam settings and go to controller and go down until you see ps4 controller activated press on it and turn it off

do anyone have the glitch where you try to turn with your controller then it just stops mid turn then goes back straight then just like glitches out the more you do it? if anyone has a solution for that pls reply because i have been having this issue for a long time, and btw i play on ps4 :)

Did that but now I got a wierd bug where now I when ever I am in a vehicle the second I turn left in game the vehicle drifts that way in game, although if I launch the game without touching the joystick the car drives straight

Just seen this as I had the same problem I purchased another controller and it fixed it for me I was using a very old controller when I had the problem , however why I am here is I mentioned this on the crew steam forums back in June 2018 asking for a fix or if anyone knew how to fix it as it made the game unplayable and a steam member posted this video on Dec 14th 2018 some 6 months later and I received a warning from a steam moderator some 6 months later for bumping the post can you believe that lol...

I you have Windows 10, just plug it in and it will work.

plug into the pc and launch steam in big picture. if youre playing other games download inputmapper to emulate a 360 controller for your ps4 controller
