You know how hard it is to have your own basketball court? He probably sacrificed a lot to even get him his own basketball court. Sad thing that this is applicable to most young people today not just Ja. Most modern parents think they have a solution of being really close and friend-like with their kids instead of traditional parenting thinking that works differently. Kids have a lifetime to make friends but God only gives you one set of parents.

And when you don’t do that job and try to play friend you get kids that don’t respect you and then in turn don’t respect anyone. And they go into the world acting like Ja Morant is acting. When parents are 100% financially depended on they're kids talent, the parental rolls can become reversed real quick or at the very least the parental line is forever moving (usually in the wrong direction). Sources say his dad has spoke with him but it’s up to Ja at this point & honestly I had a brother like this. We grew up well but he love the streets more & was shot dead 2 years ago. My dad spent all his time & love on that sibling. Was on my brother all the time about how he was moving well my dad took it hard & died 3 months afterwards. He blamed hisself, when it was never none of our fault once a child is grown & have their own kids. Ja need to take accountability for his own actions. His dad can’t make decisions for him anymore.
