I have 1gb full fibre, my TV is next to my router, do you recommend Wi-Fi 6 or hard wired for the firestick ? I know it’s slower speed wired but what’s best, the speed or stability of hard wired ? Interested to hear your opinion , many thanks
Found the screensaver can build up a large cache, especially if the firestick is left on. Personally use an app called background apps and processes to clear cache and force stop apps running in the background. Some apps run quicker with a cache but can slow down the stick if they get to large
Hi Adam. Reference the Recently Watched list. For the last couple of weeks there are gaps where the program icon would be and then you can't scroll back past it. Theres an easy temporary fix by going to another menu item them return back and the gaps are filled. I've had about 3 or 4 updates since this started but it hasn't been resolved. 4k Max. Also Fear the Walking dead shows Season 7 icon no matter what season you watch. Are you getting any issues, they seem to struggle a lot with the Recently Watched section. Thanks.
Hi free tag I have a question I use a fire stick 4K every single time I switch to my antenna to watch TV it either says no signal to the fire stick or it’s just a black screen is there any way to fix this I’ve tried to reset my fire stick I’m sorry restart my fire stick multiple times is there any way to fix this also I am disabled so so I would have to ask my grandpa for help if I have to do anything physically and my fire stick is behind my Vizio TV it’s not hooked into the power supply though I have it hooked into like what is hooked into the power supply it’s not hooked into like a like a plug or whatever like you tell me or the thing you tell me not to do but anyway I’m rambling can you help sir
4k firestick I use the "k" app run from a usb drive but it leaves at least 86mb in cache, if I clear out the cache it takes forever to load up the app the next time.

You better off force stop your apps and then clear cache. Especially if you have been using a lot of apps. As the more apps you have running in the background the slower your firestick will get. Even you just clear the cache the apps still running in the background.

Im getting this quite often on my 4k max fire stick where it doesnt play the opening sequence chime, then doesnt click when moving the cursor, followed by no sound from any app. The only cure ive found is to go into settings, my firestick, then Reset. Is it just me?

I cleared the cache and the storage went up . What i used was 2.66 GB after clearing the cache it went up to 2.91 GB.
