Love the fit that says Honda is cheap and unreliable and Yamaha is the quality and reliable. They are both good, BUT Honda is know for it's reliability period
Killer video bro and yes thanks to all of our service men and women. Can't wait to start seeing the 465 it's been a long time coming lol. Keep up the great work my dude. PEACE
I have a 660 that’s been sitting for 10 years. Any idea of what I should ask for if I don’t have the time to work on it? Can’t be worth much at this point
It all depends on the year, condition, aftermarket parts on it, paperwork, what similar ones are going for in your area. They average around $2000 in my area, that's for one that maybe runs but has issues. I'm sure someone will disagree but that's my opinion
If I end up parting this one out I'll let everyone know. My one friend parts quads out he might have one his info is in one of my older videos titled " how I build affordable quads with name brand parts "
I'm sure you already did since you got the book but don't forget to bleed the oil line to the top end I made the mistake and about blew my motor on my old 02 660r bought it for 800 sold for 1900 with title 2 years ago there not bad quads to just play on but I'll never own 1 again nothing but problems
I own a raptor 700 and a 400 ex. The yamahas I've owned in the past are so much more quality than the Honda I've owned. I actually vowed to never own another Honda but my wife needed something more powerful that a 350 and less than a 450 until she gets more experience in the dunes. Done more work on the 400ex in a few months than I have in the 10 years I've owned the yamaha.
@@garagemcmatt my brother bought a 660 recently. Motor was in great shape and never opened up, but every other bearing on the thing needed replaced. That just comes with age and previous maintenance.
@@anthonycondon1132 yeah sometimes you luck out. I don't have anything against them I'm just not a fan and I've had several of them in the past, one of them was worked to the max and that was in 05
Raptor shit60s suck 2nd gear always breaks and I'm just not a huge craptor fan but have some kinda love for all toys Yfz450s not bad tho I've had a cpl currently have a full built and stroked Kfx450r that at this point only stock part is the frame
That’s dope man much love all made our day we watched right before work so will most definitely be talking about all day at work 😂
No doubt bro. Hold it down over there!
Most definitely 💯
The 400's is what brought me here originally man an I been watching the channel since you started an all I got to say is keep doing what you do man
Thanks bro. Your about to get what you came for soon. It's going to be a somewhat long series I'm gunna make a video on each step of the build

I can’t find those gytr frame guards anywhere
There was a few things on this quad I should have taken off of it before I sold it
Im about to go ride my Honda now b4 it rains
Sounds like a plan bro
I run Blud Oil, best oil out there. I run 15/50 both sides on my trx450...
Honda and Yamaha don't make oil, just rebrand some oil from who knows what maker.
I'm a bell ray fan or hp2 for 2 stroke mix oil
Just brought 2001 is a project. I’m looking for a engine ? FL

Lol I've had the opposite experience. Plus these 660's just were not the best

I'm not a craptor fan either. Second gear stuff was on the 2001 model but still don't like them. It's ok tho still a quad to fix up
