Nothing beats fountain pens. A nib holder offers a great variety of nibs. But, my favorite is the many colors at our disposal. She shimmer, shading and sparkle of different inks and the new ones coming out so often is addictive. Thanks for sharing

These are so pretty Maud, love your Indian ink doodles and your use of watercolours, I always struggle with confidence using watercolour paints, good technique. I found a black scrapbook paper sheet in my stash which has white doodled florals and leaves and it inspired me and I love it also. I made it into a journal cover.
My daughter used to draw beautiully using ink, she was so good.

Very sweet Journal you received. And it is so much fun to watch you working in it and doing your doodles. And then showing us how you put them in a journal. I'm a seasoned watercolor artist and I think that you have given such good instructions for people who have not done any or very little of it. I do want to say that for bigger projects where you use lots of paint and blending and so forth it does not pay for a beginner to use inexpensive paint or inexpensive paper because they will be frustrated with the outcome. So if they are serious about doing major watercolor it would be best to invest in quality products. But for the little Doodle things cheaper Paint & Paper would be fine I'm sure

It is good to know that there is so much quality difference and let everyone choose for themselves what they want to spend money on in the end. I will share the little knowledge and experience I have. 🧚♀️💚
You are such lucky girl with a real Bollenhut style journal, I believe you that it is more beautiful in real.
Susanne is, just like you, an adorable, creative, wonderful and lovely person and that’s what I love about you two sweeties.
I bought that watercolor set too but I also have a little set of better watercolors. I think for me it’s enough because I love to do little things with it. I love your little tutorial of doodling in this video….it’s already midnight now but my fingers are itching to try this…without ink pen but that doesn’t matter😂
