Wow im delighted to have found this. Thank you. It is an excellent lesson, and i look forward to watching the rest as i prepare myself for life as a CFAV with the ACF.
Cheers for the info. New ACF instructor here, good to get a heads up on the weapon and refresh my self with the similarities of the A1 which I used as a cadet
You missed the most important part of this weapon system removing the base cap of the pistol grip you will find a storage area for your cigarettes and matches these you will need for those long nights on guard duty on the field exercise.
It is a variant of the SA-80 A2 Used by the British armed forces. which has been modified to be exclusively Semi Automatic for the use by Army, Air, Sea, and marine cadets which are youth organisations in the UK

My god, I can't believe this awful rifle is still in service, British armed forces deserve so much better
It's a cadet rifle, not meant for combat in the army it's only used in the cadet force for training
@@samperkins693 true, but the SA80a2/a3 is the standard issue rifle, it's not much better & should have been replaced years ago.
@@selfco8142 fair I don't really know much about normal military weapons
