What a feature-rich sub compact tractor, some of which typically seen only on larger Ag tractors. It will be interesting to see how dependability, performance, and support plays out over time. Seemingly more than competitively priced. Great to see you and Ken at the show! Blessings.

12:59 whoa whoa. Three point attachment on the front with a PTO? The possibilities are endless. I'd love to slap a Baumalight forestry mulcher or a heavy duty flail out front. It would make brush clearing so much nicer without having to look over your shoulder all day.

I just wish more companies would start promoting this in the US. In Europe they love front hitches. Deere offers a front hitches for all their compacts but I can’t find any of the attachments I would use. Front hitch attachments are a joy to operate. My neck gets tired looking backwards.

Great video Tim. Love these product videos the show.
That Cab 25 hp Mahindra is very interesting. A lot of nice high-end features, however, looks like a pretty large machine for a 25hp.
It looks to be a 2-range transmission as well.
Knowing how a 1025 and 2025R Deere can feel a little week in high range unless you put a turbo on them.
I am a little concerned how well that 25hp cab Mahindra with AC on a machine that large is going to perform especially with only having 2 ranges.

The 4 start indicators would definitely help. When one of those swiches goes bad. You can quickly check out the problem or jump the sucker to get it back where it can be serviced. My tractor had problems and it took the dealer a couple of tries to fix it properly. They left a jumper wire ( disconnected) so they had jumped them in turn to find the problem.

Thanks Tim. I have a 2007 Mahindra 6530 basic 2 wheel drive open station farm tractor with 8 speed stand transmission. Basic and simple as you can get. Cost $15K . The overall machine is tough as nails. Engine, frame and 3 pt lift built like a tank. The only issue i have had are things like gauges and switches. Approx 3100 hrs on it and I have been thru 2 gauge clusters , 4 starter solenoids and 2 light switches. But the rest of the machine is rock solid.

    Love your videos.
I was interested in the fact that it did not have regen. I understand that the regen actual cause major problems to the engine, when either requires major overhaul or replacement of the engine at around 7000 to 7500 hours. That may not be a problem for the hobbiest, but for the big guys it is.
Another commentator taunted the channel that rebuilds or refurbishes old tractors, a friend of mine bought a new Kubota, but he kept his old ( not sure of the number) because it has been in the family a long time and sentimental and it worked. The reason it was in the shop was he put bio20 gasoline (less expensive) in it and that ruined many components in the engine. Guess it the gas was not cheaper, removing the lead and putting in corn syrup was not such a good idea.
    Respectfully submitted

Nice overview guys. My Mahindra 1533 TLB (34.5 HP), also built by Mitsubishi, cost $32K including taxes, forks, rake and post hole digger in 2018. No mid mount mower of course but a compact, not sub compact. And no regen, Mitsubishi uses a different system. One would think the 1538 would be the same tractor with 3 more HP but it wasn't. ENTIRELY different tractor built by TYM, a bit cheaper but 2 seat backhoe and for me, uncomfortably short leg distance to the pedals and seriously cramped for backhoe work.

The issue Mihindra has from what i see is with their electrical/wiring harness. Mahindra has solid mechanical reputation and outside of the USA sells a lot of mechanical tractors globally. Will this change fix these issues? To be fair i have seen some New Holland electronics issues too. Kudos for the drive on mower linkage and setting the lift and depth controls 9n the 26 hp model. This will move the compeitors to add these features.

Love my 1025 but I need like a foot more reach for pallet racks and to dump in my dump trailer. Tym 25, kioti cx2510 or now the Mahindra 2100 series? Absolutely love the foot print of the 2025 but it’s a waste of $ for no real improvement. The t25 is a bargain tractor but the rear tires on it are massive for homeowners that have sub compact type of properties. Ask what their plan is to make their dealers happy instead of dropping them like a hot rock at the earliest opportunity. My dealer dropped them and now I pretty much have an orphan tractor... next closest dealer that I would even consider going to with a problem is nearly 200 miles away. They need to take a look at how Deere builds dealers as well as how they build tractors.

Dealer went out of business and now he has to haul it 300 miles to get warranty service and it is always broke down for motor, transmission, and other problems. Could be just his bad luck but I would be very, very careful before purchasing a Mahindra. I know he will never purchase another one. Just a word of caution and his experience might not be yours.
