    its super nice to see any sissy squats tutorial on the youtube but i think i cannot name that a good tutorial becasue u even didn't mention about mobility , 95% of random ppl won't be able to perform first step (perfect squat on the toes), but its still worthfull to popularize legs bodyweight exercises

      Thanks for your comment. I think if someone cannot do progression 1 they shouldn't try the next progressions up or even think of training sissy squats until they work on assessing & addressing mobility issues that could be very wide ranging. If they cannot do progression 1 it is likely mobility of the hips or balance in the feet that will be the largest issue. The first progression if done while holding onto something should be possible to perform by most people. It is quite rare not to be able to squat with elevated heels, although of course holding onto something for balance may be needed. I know most people sit a lot and their mobility is poor, but anyone not able to squat with elevated heels is pretty serious really.

    I feel like your Progression 1 would blow out my knees from being that far over my toes, without much practice. 🤔
    Last time I tried a sissy squat progression I quickly overdid it. 😖

      This video wasn't made for knee pain or rehab but we could probably make one to address knees over toes progressions for someone with reduced knee ROM. Is that something you are interested in?
