You have done a very important thing! Now I can call Origins the official way to play classic Sonic games without feeling like I'm playing an unpolished version of those games. While fan projects like Forever, Absolute, CD Decompilation + Restored and AIR are still the best way to play these games due to the flexibility of settings, additional content and a huge base of mods, Origins provides a neatly packaged way to immerse yourself in these games, play through the game alone after another (+ missions and mirror mode), watching animated videos, a museum and 3D islands. Thank you very much!

I got it working well for one you need to update to the developer channel for hedgemod manager secondly those getting the error after trying to install the mod just deleted all traces of the mod folder then try installing it again that's how I got it working

And Sonic Gems Collection had Vectorman and Vectorman 2 as bonus games, with Japan getting Bonanza Bros. and Bare Knuckle 1, 2, and 3 as exclusives. Monster World IV was to be included as there's a thumbnail in the game's code, but it didn't make the cut.

Chaotix would round out the collection of 2D sonic games on the Genesis, it’s more relevant for a _Classic Sonic_ collection than stuff that would’ve been on some separate collections around 20 years ago. Just because Mega Collection and Gems collection had non sonic bonuses, doesn’t mean they need to be in all Sonic collections. They weren’t in the previous example of a collection that was more of a port than just emulation, Sonic Jam back on the Saturn.
I really hope that this fixes the sonic three music! Sega needs to apologize to you for making you do their job because you’re are certainly doing better!
The question is did you guys fix the incorrect skidding sprite in sonic 1 to be the one from the original game and not the cd skidding sprite???? But for real this looks fantastic and so much love and passion was put into it. Edit: just read the patch notes and you guys actually did it, I already love this even more❤

I was never ever going to give money to Sega for all these stupid decisions they keep doing to Sonic releases but thanks to the amazing fan community, these fantastic original games can be better preserved and play how they were originally designed plus adding true new experiences and not ruining them. it's honestly sad and ridiculous how we have to resort to modding just to get these games running in the best way possible. not saying that i'm not grateful for these mods. no, i am very delighted that they exist! it's just that i wish for all of this to be a part of the official release right from the get-go. either way, this mod actually makes me wanna finally give into getting origins now. wonderful stuff to see here, man!
In order to be truly complete this mod would need Mania-like smooth sprite rotation - as the Taxman engine is very well capable of. It’s just another nicety (included in the fan decompilations of 1 and 2 and activated by default) that only improves the experience
