As far as I know PIE is more common with lighter skin and appears because of the dilation of blood vessels instead of the production of melanin related to PIH. That‘s why PIH turns brown/dark whereas PIE looks like redness that just wont go away. Not a professional though so you‘d be better off researching cause I might be wrong :)
In case anyone sees this comment, know that Differin and Cetaphil are both owned by Galderma. If you are looking at any of the Cetaphil products that would be targeted for acne, look first to see if Differin has the same type of product. I tried many formulations even the milder potassium derivative. Liquorice root is actually a dark horse and has helped PIE and PIH immensely. I also find leave on 2% salicylic acid to also be really helpful too. Great video as always 😊
That's what those purple marks are. I always wondered what that was. Thank you as always. I have both conditions. I also followed your advice and used Vaseline on some of my persistent red and flaky patches on my cheeks. The redness has subsided. Sooooo happy. It's been there for awhile. I use sunscreen every day, even though I live in Toronto,Canada 🍁 and our winters are long.
Dr. Dray if you had to choose between the SKIN LI Effector and the COSRX Centella Ampoule, which one would you recommend I try first? I already use the corsx snail mucin so I don’t know if too many serums is a problem...
Looking fab in lilac Dr Dray! Happy Tuesday 😎🎈🎈🎈
Greetings Naddy N hope u r well n Happy Tuesday😀👍💜....
@@whitneybrown4067 thanks so much and happy Tuesday too! 😃💕🇬🇧
I wish I knew this in my teens or when my daughter was in her teens abs early 20’s. Such good information!
For real! She’s a godsend
Love this video! Stress ages! I found disconnecting from the TV, removed a lot of my stress. Their ‘programming” was taking a toll on my health. I cancelled my cable and also Alexia! Tired of having all our conversations listed too! I use to keep the TV on for background sound, found silence is sooo much better! ‘ ‘
I listen to a lot of radio. Wish I had a classical or jazz station.
The LI Effector is great for redness related rosacea as well! Good stuff, I think you have
a shout out in the reviews on Amazon so I bit. SO glad I did!
Thank you Dr. Dray. I am spot treating my erythema (acne red marks) with TO azelaic on top of my moisturizer and it's proven to be effective on my skin. I am thankful to have found azelaic acid because my skin somehow doesn't agree with vitamin C.
What moisturizer do yo use?

Hello do you mind reviewing the effectiveness of azelaic acid? How long does azelaic acid take to completely get rid of your PIE? Thanks
@@unwantedtomato20 I takes some time before you can see huge results. Definitely not an active you would expect fast and drastic results from. Hopes that helps!
I’m so thankful for you and these videos! I have PIE and I bought both alpha arbutin and tranexamic acid and I was wondering do these make you purge? Thank you
What lip product are you wearing? It looks so pretty! 😍
THANKS A TON!!! Iits like you read our minds!! Ive been gouging through your playlist for ages and needed the new version!!
I bought the centella aqua soothing ampoule last month because of your recommendation and it has helped my redness and skin barrier so much!! :)
hello how is your redness now and should I get this product
@@javier8082 this product has definitely helped me out a lot and I think it’s the best affordable product for helping the skin barrier/calming the skin that I’ve tried :)
@@miekesimone8050 thank you would you use this product day or night
@@javier8082 I think it would good either as a day or night time serum!! Personally I use my curology treatment at night so I would use this during the day though, but it can definitely still work at night
Are there any ingredients that shouldn’t be paired with the good molecules product?
hope next time maybe you put some pictures to make it easy to differentiate between the two but other than that your fabulos this is so informative and helpful!!
I love your videos but I think showing photo examples of skin conditions would be helpful.
Hey doctor Dray, does taking low dose is still effective also for treating acne (reaching the cumulative dose required ) ?
Thank you
Yes it does
LOVE you video 🥺🥺💕 thanks for always being so informative !!
and does cosrx snail mucin help w PIE as well?
Hi Dr Dray, which of thoses products are the best for combination and really sensitive skin ?
Well done Dr Dray for picking topics people can’t even imagine to talk about.. your information actually helps lots of people.. thank you so much 😊
Am I able to use the Good Molecules Discoloration correcting serum and my prescription trentinoin on the same night? Or should I alternate these two products? Thanks!
How did u used
Thanks for this great video. Could you please do a review of the It’s Skin products? They have so many serums, are they all good?
I'm on end of month 2 of accutane and was wondering about this! I have SO many little red marks from my purge😭
Keeping everyone up to speed on so many skincare specifics your awesome Dray ⭐️🔥 I would wear that color! 👍🏻
Oh thank you!
Happy Tuesday my Friend!! I Hope Your Day is Full of Joy, and Lots of Nice Things You Love To Do!! Always!!

@@jackiemarsh2470 sweet lady thanks so much same to you!! 👉🏻☀️🙏🎉
@@whitneybrown4067 thank you! Have a great day! ☀️👌🏻
ive been using the niacinamide from the ordinary and my redness has gone down significantly. my skin is sensitive so i cant use strong products or else the redness and itchiness will just flare right back up (i tried a benzoyl peroxide wash and my face did NOT like that) but niacinamide never stings and is very soothing. also using a green tea and centella toner, some HA, ceramide based moisturizer, zinc based sunscreen, and some mild vitamin c, its really really helped. i have scars but i want to see how much i can get them to go away with a good skin care routine before i try a procedure.
heyy idk if youll see this but can u please expand what brands for the rest of ur skincare routine ur using? (centella toner, sunscreen, etc) thanks!
Great video. I have learned so much from your videos also my skin improved so much over the years from your suggestions.
I have PIE for more than 6 YEARS. now here me out: AZELAIC ACID IS THE BEST AND MOST UNDERATED
Did it help you? What products did you use?
wow i’ve been waiting on this video for so long!!! i have recently rewatched your first one about PIE but this one is even more helpful 😊
It's really late where I live so I'm going to watch the whole thing tomorrow morning but I just wanted to say THANK YOU for making a video for us PIE faces! 🤗🤗🥧🥧
Thank you so much, this is so informative.
I will actually buy one of the products and run to see my dermatologist!
😚😍
I would love to know about your jewelry today - beautiful! Content is really useful today, too.
Would Differin Gel also help? Along with the Cerave Resurfacing Retinol Serum?
Both are retinoid derivatives so choose 1
Hi Dr Dray I tried to find “CeraVe resurfacing retinol serum” but it seems it is not available in canada is there any alternatives I can try. Reason I just wanted to go with this one is due to the reviews and getting feedback from you was final for me as after following your directions it has really helped my skincare routine. Thanks in advance:)
I was literally searching your old videos for this yesterday
I know right, this couldn't have come at a better time
Dr. Dray, what is the best laser treatment for broken capillaries? I have them all over my face, some large some really small. Thanks so much
I was just watching a great video she has all about broken capillaries. (I have rosacea so I have them too & was curious.) I would check that one out! I think ipl is the most helpful one if I remember correctly.
Assalaam Alaikum my lovely lovely Dr. Dray. Have a great day everyone. ❤️❤️❤️
Enjoy your day friend 😊
Thank You!! You Have a Great Tuesday Too!!
Happy Tuesday!
You too!
Greetings Zahra Qauomi hope u r well n Happy Tuesday😀👍💜....
I feel that caudalie resevotrol serum can help to reduce acne scar quite fast and effectively. The main ingredient is grapeseed.
Can I use the good molecules serum you mentioned on my chest for PIE?
