Winter in Connecticut is quite fine and not over whelming at all. We don't have extreme weather at all, and that goes for all year long. The cities and towns have all geared up for keeping the roads and highways clear, and we rarely have any extreme weather such as tornados or hurricanes, although we do have one of them once every 10 years. Snowstorms are handled quite nicely, where everyone hunkers down while it's snowing and then waits for the highway crews to do their job. In a good way, this Winter of January 2025 is cold enough where the ponds are finally freezing over and people can go skating. And the coastline gets quite picturesque with the snow falls.
