19 years old and i just passed my California Real Estate exam🎉
You're about to be a millionaire
I passed in July and just closed a $29.2m large land property. When I took my test they allotted 4 hours, because of your practice tests I passed in 47minutes. I was actually scared because I thought there is no way I finished early!
I passed today in Los Angeles !!! In the parking garage I said out loud “We did it Joe!!!” 😂🙏🏻🤞🏻 In all seriousness I found the exam to be difficult! What I believe the true key to passing with much more ease than I did is to yes definitely start with KNOWING all of your VOCAB, where you don’t just know the definition but how it’s applicable. Next do Cali specific practice exams where you focus only on the right answer, and know in depth why that answer is right. If it’s a simple answer keep it simple. Read the exam questions slowly, so you don’t allow them to trick you! Take note a few questions may answer another questions inside the question. Do process of elimination/similarity on questions you’re unsure of. Meaning if three answers sound/mean the same the outcast may be the right one. Try to be clear and concise with finding the right answer, even if it’s only a part of the answer. So in summary vocab until you know it all encompassing, then Cali practice questions in each section, then take your time on each question of the actual exam! You will see that each little effort you made in studying will help you grab a questions answer here & there. That adds up then you will score over 70%. What Joe is doing in these RUclips videos is helping you get the vocab and a good base, then it’s up to you to do the practice tests to pick up the rest of the pieces of the puzzle. Thank you for creating this content Joe!
Im in Pennsylvania so I know there will be different state questions. My question is were there any answers you had to actually write in? Or were they all just multiple choice and you had to just either check or circle an answer? Congrats on your passing...how is the real estate industry treating you?
I concur with you!
dont wanna be cheassy but i passed my exam today here in Pennsylvania and i want to say thank you to these videos and the time you took to make them i appreciate you
Jonathan hines aint shit cheesy about that congrats hope its all working out well for you

Watch you videos a day before my test. Hands down the reason I passed my test. Thank you so much.
I'm testing in California on May 12. I've had my license before about 10 years ago. I have taken many tests in my 46 years of life and this by far is one of the most difficult I have ever taken. I am grateful for you and your videos because I don't usually have ADD but this does something strange to me. Thank you and I'll let you know if I pass. I need to pass.
This was soooo helpful!!!!! 53 years young and going back to school!
I passed the exammmmmmmmmmm thankkkkk youuuuuuu
Hi Joe, because of YOU I passed my real estate exam about a week ago. Thank you! You are truly amazing.
I listen with my coffee every morning. I like the way you break down terms to one word. It helps your brain filter out all the long explanations quickly.
Thank you Joe! Just passed the Georgia exam at 18 years old today! I learned so much from your videos and you were so incredibly helpful!

Glad to know that. I failed it in California by 1%. I am taking it again next week, though I hadn't seen any of these videos before. Now I am watching as many as I can.

Are state exam questions similar to prepagent questions?
Hi Joe! I’m in the state of Florida and I just passed my real estate exam on the first try. I owe a lot of it to you and your videos. You helped me tremendously! I passed my test on Tuesday, you are the man!!! As I answered questions on the test I said to myself "Thanks Joe" and went on to the next question. A couple questions later "Thanks Joe" and so on.......Watched all of your stuff!! Thanks a million!!
Joe, today I passed both portions of my real estate exam in Massachusetts on my first try. I will say - I did have to attend a 40hour class (as required to take the exam in Massachusetts) I studied 22 chapters , roughly 600 flash cards, took many tests including some apps for my iPhone. My total study time was around 50 hours (not including the 40 hour class I took) your advise on studying helped me so much and this video was what I listened to in the car on the way to the exam. Thank you for your free content, I may subscribe on the website anyway just to further my education. You are 100% correct when you say just one thing won’t get you to pass the exam, you must practice multiple things. Again - thank you, you’re an awesome teacher!
Was the test hard any tips please
Hi I took my exam on 11/18/16 and paased!!! I studied a lot and verified my knowledge listening to your webinars, while driving, cooking and getting ready for work.Thank you!!!
Real property - immovable
Personal property - movable
Fixtures - incorporated to the land
Fee simple estate - most interest
Fee simple defeasible - limitation of ownership
Life estate - owner dies/ lease terminates
Less then freehold estate - lessee doesn't have to sign
Sublease - transfers possession not ownership (example would be room for rent)
Thank you Mario!
Thank you for all the help. I just passed my exams today thanks to your videos.

@@miriamcruz4384 For sure. I took the pre-licensing with the CE-shop and read through all material once. I took practice quizzes and tests (about two per day), and only focused on reading/understanding the questions I got incorrect. Passed my National exam in NYC today, first try. Thank you Prep Agent. You are the best! This and a combination of flashcards are the best way to study. State exam tomorrow! Good luck to everyone.
I passed my State exam as well! Thank you Prep Agent. The key thing I would advise to anyone is "Study to understand, not to memorize." If I had went into that exam trying to memorize things, I would have failed. I felt so good when I took that exam and this is the hardest I've ever studied for anything. Study and you will be prepared. That is all. Thanks!

These should be multiple choice questions for learning. Nobody, unless they already have experience, or have a photographic memory, is going to retain all this right off the bat.

I am ADHD not ADD but similar and I most definitely do that when studying or working on tasks… WRITE IT DOWN lol keeps me in line. I’ve learned over the yrs and as my mom told me through our life you need a calendar and task book to remember and keep you focused because you forget things or get too distracted to remember so this has been a way for a while for me. I agree! Lol

Great! I appreciate the way you deliver the info! And you're right! Great lecture! I love your method of forcing the student to think and to verbalize his/her thoughts. Great advise on not initially wasting too much time on multiple choice, as your wasting time weeding through useless information.
