Thank you Farmer Cop and DJ for making me feel a lot better, i watched the release video earlier when Giants released it at noon my time and I kept seeing so many people hating on this game saying it is just farming sim 22 being rereleased and that it looked terrible and it had me really down about being excited for this game to come out, but thanks to you two I feel better and hyped up all over again for this game to come out, I cant wait to start farming up some Rice!!

I love the Fact that the Texturing has improved. the water is going to dynamically react. Graphicly this is the best we are going to have with the New game engine. The game play video was very impressive. Dynamic Fog and hopefully the lifting there of will be quite an addition to our game play. This is going to be Epic come November 12, 2024. Have a great time guys.
Can't wait to see what the modders do with this 😊

I just looked at your recent FS22 tutorial after watching this one and the first thing I saw was how barren the game world looked in FS22 compared to this footage. I may be forever spoiled now, not sure I can go back...

Well if they can do somethin with water in general w/ in game tools for editing your farm etc. I can only image the mods getting even more complex I love the idea with rice but imagine making a pond having some control of adding pieces to the pond including fish.
yes would be nice to make ponds on the property. they showed A LOT of water on this map so it would seem it plays a much bigger role since fields can be flooded and there's boat docks.
Something I noticed in the night footage with the tractor was stars!! Not sure GPS is as exciting as DJ was making it out to be. 🤪
The field shown at 14:52 is not rice. The tool tip said Soybeans. So I assume that what we get is a new harvester for that crop. Which also means Soybeans now look different.

FS25 is a must buy for all farsim lovers.
It would be so cool, if we could add fish to the ricepaddies, for fertilizing, and for eating afterwards. And then add Ducks on the harvest ricefields, that then eat the rice stups. And again, sell the fed up ducks afterwards. But i guess that's a bit too much to hope for.

I hope that the ranching aspect of the game has been improved. I haven’t been impressed with the options for animal pens, animation, and how simple it is to care for them.

Just to put GPS in perspective. I held off buying FS22 until the GPS mod (and courseplay) was up and running. Here is hoping both become standard.

Is the fog going to put moisture on the crops.........that has to burn off before you harvest it? When I worked on a farm as a teenager we would have to wait til 10 am or so due to that.

At this point all I care about is if they addressed the landscaping tools and how buildings are build around it. Because I'm trying to do a live stock based game on Haut-Beyleron and trying to build sheep and cattle pens on any plot with even the mildest of hill quickly snow balls into a cluster. Even on test saves suddenly just beyond the building in the pen area the grass is at an 80 degree angle and taller then your character.
Looks like the dry rice gives straw but wet doesn't. Wonder if they are going to add something to not make it entirely worse.
Will swathing be required? before harvest? If soo, possitive effect on yeild.??
It likely wont be required but we do not yet know the benefits if any of doing it
Hopefully the game performance will actually improve because man does FS22 just suck to run, even on new hardware. R7 7800X3D and 7800 XT and I'm still struggling to get a stable 60+ framerate in FS22 at 1080p, with and without FSR. Unmodded too. With my R7 2700 and RX 580 I used to run got 15-30 fps at 1080p.
For comparison sake, all Roblox games, some which look drastically better than FS22, perform anywhere from 120 to 190 FPS. Forza Horizon 5 gives me a solid 150, and Starfield gives me 140.
Graphics look great.

I like how each Farming Sim that comes out looks so realistic. I remember comparing FS17 to the new FS19 and thinking 'holy crap those tractors look so realistic now' and swearing they couldn't get any more realistic. Then FS22 came out and THAT became the most realistic. NO WAY they could make a more realistic Farming Simulator. And now we see this. Even the water now with realistic ripples and wakes? I hope we eventually get floating boat mods if that's the case.
There will be a ferry so it is very possible

I'm not saying FS25 will be ugly, in fact... But it's a very far way from today's games!
@adamtoth6385 I have. GTA V (especially the basegame tractor) didn't really spark the idea for a comparison because it didn't look like anything special to me. My buddy plays Flight Sim but I never have, and while SnowRunner has admittedly more realistic graphics, I was trying to disregard it and compare only the Farming Sims.
What’s the difference between GPS and the minimap that older versions already had?
I'm glad they are finallly leaving last gen consoles behind, it looks pretty good. I just feel like they wasted too much time on rice, something nobody cares about. I hope we see some mud when it rains or 3d ground textures when plowing. Every american map giants makes is horrible. Once again we have to wait for the modders to save the game. I appreciate all of the hard work all you modders do especially custom modding. Excited for farm con today.

the clip showing the road running through the map, is that a new view to drive around in, the bonnet view ? i would prefer that to the in cab view.
It literally shows in the cab in the combine….

Just imagine if farm sim and call of the wild did a collaboration game......... ??????????? Somebody like this and help me make it a thing. Imagine going around your farm for your dog to alert to predators. Or animal destruction like boars and even bunnies eating all the carrots.

All good and well but for the love of god can they optimize the game to utilize multiple cpu cores/threads
Look really good the graphics, rice and crop quality. But player ask for ground deformation for 6 years now… seems the same hard floor again :(.
I will still buy it and play tons of it but has a fan of snowrunner to, i keep dreaming about ground deformation…

The Fog (volumetric) may look nicer... but what is the cost as far as performance. What are the specs going to look like. And for some, a new PC/console may be the only way to play 25.

Old gen consoles will not be supported and there will be settings to make it less graphically intense

For me, the AI capability is what will make me decide on if i buy this game or not. If its as dumb as a dead goldfish like FS22, i will not buy it. I refuse to by another game where the moders need to fix the game mechanics because the game maker cant be bothered to finish the game properly.
The new AI is like courseplay is but better and easier to use
