I hate limited time missions with a burning passion. I get that the brood war zerg campaign is all about teaching the player "the zerg are a faction that wins by utilising speed", but still...
Worst one easily is the psi disruptor mission. Installation missions with limited units are already a different ball game, but adding a timer to it makes it just insufferable.
i remember my days on Auir, then Shakuras, we had conflict, i was one of the Shadow Guards tasked with protecting one of our most important Matriarchs and yet, The Queen of Blades still managed to get past me, influenced and twisted and corrupted her mind, the only protoss who cared were the “rebellious” ones…yes we rebelled against the Conclave rejected the ways of the Khala, but ultimately were forced into exile to Shakuras because the Conclave had deemed us unpredictable…unorthodox…in the end when The Queen of Blades got to the Narazim Matriarch, i was blindsided by Her and ultimately met my fate…years after the Brood War as was called, i was resurrected as a sentinel of now the redeemed purifiers who were supposedly shutdown by the Conclave due to the same reasons for Exiling the Narazim…and now i serve the purifiers and the New Protoss Order of Peace and Stability. i also remember Zeratul freeing Razugal from Kerrigan’s control and feel responsible for not being there for Vorazun
Meanwhile, on StarCraft Alternate… With Tassadar no more, the New Protoss Empire is now in disarray as they fight each other and everyone, including the Primal Zerg, who are in retreat. The UED are planning to leave within half an hour as well, or whatever is the Protoss equivalent of such, with DuGalle in tow. Duran tasks his three Executors to stop them and capture him and Stukov alive, not letting the Imperials or Primals stand in their way. The mission is finished with more than five ticks to spare, and DuGalle decides to end it by taking Stukov's sidearm and shooting himself. Duran decides to let the Ghost given the ramifications it would have on the UED OR Stukov's psyche, and he swears vengeance as a result before departing. However, en route to Braxis…

Zeratul fought against her on Char back when the Overmind was still alive, so she probably had some lingering resentment toward him and Tassadar from that time.
Never understood the "guilt of killing her"; would it have really been better to let her "live" as Kerrigan's zombie? He did the right thing, easily justifiable. I think accidentally giving the Overmind the location of Aiur would weigh heavier on his mind lol.
I'm curious. 1. What if the Supermind managed to completely become a single personality, independent of everyone? Could he once again create evil plans, destroy the protoss of Shakuras, subjugate Kerrigan and lead politics again? 2. And if Kerrigan lost and UED won victories, would they be able to keep the Overmind? Considering how rapidly the Flock is developing, I have no doubt that the Overmind could sooner or later “wake up” and find out how his “children” became slaves. 3. And if the Overmind did not die from Tassadar, the UED won with ease or with difficulty or no?
Kerrigan was but a piece on a board ever since she got infested. Revenge over the preservation of all life, seems very petty and Zeratul himself put aside his feelings and set the stage, for Raynor, Kerrigan and Artanis.
Sorry to bust into your bubble, Raynor his army his back already done that to stop Kerrigan for personal revenge. Although the mission failed which is a suicide for the rest of whole squad. For Zeratul, he's probably absent after Brood War looking for clues about the dark future.
Kerrigan: "And that, Zeratul, is a better revenge than I could have ever dreamed of."
Zeratul: "But I didn't do anything to you!"
Blizzard writing back then isn't really great as we remember huh.😂

@@retloclive9118 she probably took that Concubine of the Zerg insult personally.
He helped kill her father, the OGvermind.
He steal kill Zasz from her. While his friend (Tassadar) made her look stupid.

RIP Razagal. Was cool to see her appear as a teen via flashback in the 2nd Dark Templar book where she was a contemporary of Adun.
2:54 this is a betrayal most foul, devourer!
If only Zeratul had some dark archons. He could have mind controlled Kerrigan and Raszagal!
@@lhfirex Good old lore and gameplay segregation

But what did Zeratul do???? What was the point of this? There was no revenge to be taken for anything wtf

@Headless_Bill While I understand your point, everything with Raszagal was more personal. They had known each other for years.
I'm curious.

Another reason starcraft 2 sucked
Raynor and zeratul deserved revenge
Eh revenge is the most worthless of causes, but still at least some form of recompense or apology or guilt on Kerrigan's part.
Kerrigan was but a piece on a board ever since she got infested. Revenge over the preservation of all life, seems very petty and Zeratul himself put aside his feelings and set the stage, for Raynor, Kerrigan and Artanis.
