This was a really fun mission to watch. Love seeing those battlecruiser/valkyrie fleets taking down those Zerg bases. Nothing more satisfying than dishing out some revenge after having to defend against waves and waves of Zerg.
Meanwhile, on StarCraft Alternate… With the Protoss hampered by the Distortion Spire, the CZP head to Aiur for their final step involving the Bijeta Virus infesting the Xel'Naga Worldship. Three Pack Leaders spearhead the charge, dealing with a Templar Nexus employing the use of invincible Heavy Reavers, and another with the perpetual reincarnations of Aedus/Xerxes, who never ends up at Brontes IV or perhaps has been successful in purging the Terrans and Zerg there (plus one Executor enthralled by the Cerebrate Auza). Once those Nexii have been demolished, after going through more Protoss, the path is eventually cleared for the Primal Leaders to administer the Bijeta Virus and bring Tassadar's Protoss under their control. Raszagal and Duran later meet with Zurvan and the latter delivers his warnings before they depart and their Corsairs and Carriers cover their retreat.

not really. cerebrates can be destroyed by normal means, but they'll get resurrected after some time - see the original campaign, where Fenix's troops killed the cerebrate, but then learned it got resurrected.
Infested terrans that early at 2:03? IIRC the orange zerg *never* sends an infested terran in the original, and I thought that this could be that they would send one after the brown and red Cerebrates are dead as the wiki suggested, but it could be me.

Knew this one would take a while; 50 minutes spent trapped in a defensive position on 1 base just to kill the 1st Cerebrate. At least the rest fell quickly after that. UED forcibly administering powerful drugs to a being less than 1 year old...
Playes literally spent 80% of the time on defense in this mission. Kerrigan: "Soon or later, I'll destroy it." DuGalle: "That seems unlikely, maam. Consider I can Yamato you to oblivion along with your dog Duran." It's very weird and doesn't make sense that the UED expedition didn't know about Kerrigan, maybe they ran with outdate database when leaving Earth but even so, after arrive at this sector, they should aquired all the infos about the zerg when taking the Dominion. 8:44 Overkill, poor scrub😂
The last level is over. I saw that all the colors were used in the ued battle. Is this to avoid collision with the colors of other forces or to represent different ued units?

I love the three player coop with increased difficulty. Makes it feel like it should have, with massive battles and what not.

Normally it takes dark templar energy to destroy a cerebrate. But it turns out Stukov's hidden vodka stash has the same effect!

Psi Disrupter severed the connection between the Overmind and its Cerebrates which prevented their reincarnation.

Seeing the entire UED fleet raining down hell on the Zerg while the Terran theme is blasting is quite a pleasing experience
All the wraiths coming to the rescue at 5:13 was a nice touch.

Only the Dark Templar can slay the Cerebrates while the UED use psi rounds to stop the Cerebrates.

My favourite mission but I hate it too.
All because Daggoth's Sunken Colonies are invulnerable that going air is the only way. Not to mention the mighty Torrasque time and time again.

I always found this mission to be one of if not the hardest mission in the whole game. How many times did it take you guys to complete it?
We made save-load two times, other than that it wasn't a big deal.

I’ve heard of concentrated battlecruiser fire to counter Torrasques, but three Yamatos is a bit overkill, isn’t it?
Yamato does 250 damage and this Torrasque have 1200 HP. So more than 5 is overkill.
