The availability for a new focus in the UK is shocking. I understand that there are shortages with microchips but ford has advertised the car but yet doesn't seem keen on delivery aspect.
The delay was due to the cables being made in Ukraine. Lots of brands have their cables made in Ukraine. Ford had to switch to spain for that. My Focus was delayed because of it.
my 3rth gen focus, 2011 titanium with 182PS and leather seats, navi etc, fully equiped goes next week. 170'000KM on it. its dying, so sad. the 2011 is the best focus ever maded!!! i was one of the firsg with the daylight leds.... and frozen white was awesome..... rip got the 1 liter 155PS automatic in frozen white the next week. ford rulez
FORD OBVIOUSLY KNOW ,IN 2018 ,that the focus was going .. not much of a choice of engines and gearboxes.. and wet belts .. the best focus is the mark one ST 170 , but that’s only my opinion, ..
Just came from the same video, I liked her positivity.. especially compared to Matt from Car Wow. However this chap is very articulate and has been excellent!
Just bought a 2023 focus ecoboost but not very happy as the touchscreen keeps freezing so therefore cannot change settings, a bloody newsense. Anyone with any advice.
If the touchscreen is freezing, you might want to try a few troubleshooting steps. First, ensure your software is up to date. If the issue persists, consider reaching out to the dealership or Ford's customer support for assistance. They can guide you through potential solutions or schedule a check-up if needed 👍
Ford engines efficient I think not, The reason the ''mild hybrid'' was introduced was to get the fuel consumption somewhere near acceptable and buyers will pay through the nose for it. We recently had a trip in a new puma and even my wife said it was noisy, she reconned it was noisier generally than our 10 year old Rio depending on the road surface, considering the cost of the car totally unacceptable.
I had a Focus 1.0 125hp mk3 estate for 9 years and drove 100.000+ Km Averaged 18km on one liter. Now have a 2022 1.0 mild hybrid version which has similar fuel consumption although it is a bit heavier and has wider 18" tyres.
By far the most complete and detailed review on the new focus restyling.

Battery at the back? It's under the front passenger seat

0:21 that pipework! What a mess, Fred could at least cover it up. Imagine fault finding that when it has a few years under its belt.

You say that model arrived in late 2021 so why do some Focus still have the sync 3 infotainment in late 2022????
Lowest trim still uses sync 3 not sync 4.
I know I’m late to the party but on my third Mk4, and in eco mode on the motorway I can easily get 63mpg

20:03 you showed the screen of a ST! st-line only have eco, normal and sport!!! so its wrong
Great review. Better than an annoying lady I've just endured with Auto Express !! Subbed 👍🚗🚗
Welcome aboard Michael!

I love the car but the engine options put me off totally.

I'd like to see Jaguar storm the hatch market with an affordable thing of beauty...I can dream I suppose.
They've gone woke so no chance
2023 the automatic has 7 gears and 125 or 155 ps
It’s an iPad on wheels . I like the old facelift better. Screen too large in my opinion.
I think ford is pitching against the 1 series BMW, all be it a less plush option.
You go through the mpg according to Ford but dont bother telling us what you were getting? That was pointless!
