Alot of times if the weather is bad before the event instead of cancelling it will be held in doors. Heavy snow or rain will typically have them move the fights to neutral corner so no one waste a trip.

This actually brings up a serious point in how effective kicking and kneeing on the ground is. Allot of jiu-jitsu would be nullified if it were allowed.

@@DreamOnDamu As far as kicks go, it's almost as dangerous for the guy playing guard, imagine being able to through full blast up kicks on the bottom. I can totally see an up kick to triangle choke transition.
As far as stand up goes a major weapon would be headbutts. Just watch a Lethwei kickboxing match to see their effectiveness...
