      Except they aren’t! Because the “entire Gospel” message is that God through the Holy Spirit because of what Christ did on the cross will and does help us with whatever we are going through and suffering from right now, right here in the land of the living in the physical world. Whatever is causing brokenness, downfall and sin in your life will be dealt with by God himself and be removed from your life if you believe and have faith.
      Christ himself said in;
      Mathew 6:33 “seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all his righteous and all these(worldly things that God knows we all need such as a job a place to live, food to eat, friends and companions to talk to and be there for you) things will be added unto you!” Are you challenging the teachings of Christ? Plus giving our own testimony as to what God has done in our lives(and this is especially includes the Pastor) is encouraging to all who believe and fellow Christ because this shows us all that God is real, he is there and he does care as we see the evidence so clear in each others lives! This is the evidence and proof that the Bible is more then just ink on a page, writing in an ancient book written by an ancient people that may or may not have understood how the natural world works, that the Bible is truly Divine in nature that there is true power to the Word and in the Word.

      @God is good God's ways are higher than our ways. His standards are naturally higher than our standards. Yet, if you had a child and you took the child to Sunday school. If the Sunday school teacher put your child in a highly uncomfortable position, maybe humiliated your child. You wouldn't care if the Sunday School teacher has every degree imaginable from Yale, Harvard, Princeton or Stanford University. You would not care if the person could speak 9 different languages fluently. You would not care if that person could quote the whole book of Psalms by memory or if they have a doctorate in biblical studies. The Bible gives in 2 Timothy and in Titus biblical qualifications for a Pastor. Yet, today in post modern Sodom America we have people that lower the bar and make their own standards of what holiness and submission to God looks like or their standards is whatever their Pastor chooses to live or not live by. They may say Bible is the final authority, but too many professing Christians live as If the Pastor is the final authority even if the Pastor isn't following God as closely as they assume.

    I was once a member of Fellowship Church under Ed Young, for several years. While Ed was plenty entertaining, every sermon had a catchy "theme" (like what is shown in the video with the car). Also in their book stores, nearly every book and study guide was written by either he or his wife Lisa, which I found to be both incredible and incredibly disturbing. The main church was always packed, and I can only assume the satellite churches were as well. But more and more, his sermons started getting too cheesy for me. Too "jokey." Every week was a different theme, with alllll sorts of lingo, cliches, and hipster jargon; every week was something over the top, something better than last week. And the praise and worship was like going to a rock concert every week (not joking). It all became too much, and I had to stop attending. I don't doubt they have great faith. Their eldest daughter passed away just recently, and I know that was incredibly painful for them. I'm still looking for a great local church, but consider myself a "member" of the churches of JD Farag, Jack Hibbs, and John MacArthur, who are able to feed me the meat of the Bible, not just the milk.

    Does that mean the contemporary worship music is un-Biblical? For this channel it seems so ... we'll just keep in mind that the hymnals AT THE TIME OF THEIR MAKING WERE CONTEMPORARY! In addition a deep, convicting Biblically-based preaching is not to be determined by whether or not the sermon is topical or expository. You can have a topical sermon and build it upon God's Word, you can have a preacher use expository method but implement isogesis on the text by superimposing HIS OWN interpretation onto the text. I've seen both. I just preached an expository message a few weeks ago and told the congregation that unfortunately it is a lost art, however, topical message is NOT automatically un-Biblical or shallow. The guy on this channel and John McArthur seem to have a huge problem with contemporary music without realizing that, as I mentioned earlier, any music WAS contemporary at one point.

For instance a person may be looking for a Church home and because they came across this video they may ask the Pastor if they are expository or topical! If the Pastor says topical they may not give that Church another thought all because of what was stated at the end of this video.

I don't need to listen to John MacArthur to know not to listen to these people. They pretend (badly) to be part of the Church when they aren't, it's simple enough to not trust them to deliver the Word of God.

    Funny how he depicts Paul Washer as a "good type of preacher" 😂 what a joke. Being focused and angry at others for not being to intense do NOT equate to sound biblical doctrine.
    I don't disagree with most he said but to subliminally suggest the good ones and the bad ones in the talk merely by show and not by discussing them is both misleading and unfounded. Simply just saying or showing them and making them seem good or bad doesn't actually give a reason for the assumption. Just a thought.

    This is why I haven’t attended a church in seven years. It has become stories about the preacher’s kids or grandkids, at the end of which is loosely tied to a scripture. These men in the pulpit fear speaking of the deep things of God. When men open their mouths to speak the truth it angers others, makes them afraid or offends them. Pastors do not wish risking offending people, for fear of losing revenue. Most churches are corporations so as to protect the leaders from lawsuits. This is cowardly and serves to blunt and mute the message.

    Somehow RUclips thought I’d enjoy this video so it presented it to me. I took the click bait and watched it.
    Here’s the way these “Biblical Teachers” taught me the Gospel…
    “For God so hated the world, that He sent His only begotten Son, that if anyone would want to escape eternal suffering, they need to repent and stop sinning and then you will escape The Father’s wrath. For the Son was not sent into the world to change our minds about God, but rather to change God’s mind about us. So now that Jesus has taken the punishment for us, God can now finally love us, and forgive us. If you don’t repent though He hates you. If you do, it’s because He granted you repentance and now somehow, He loves you.”
    Isn’t that good news?!
    The Lord have mercy on you sir. I pray you learn to love your enemies and bless them. Radical isn’t it? Kind of hard though when the view of someone’s God is such that He Himself wouldn’t even do what He asks us to do. If our theology is such that He doesn’t love His enemies, why would we? We give lip service to that text, conduct expository preaching sermons on it, and then never bother to live it.
    God Help us! I thank God that He is not like us… He’s holy (totally different)!

    • @keithpace9870
      @keithpace9870 Год назад

      Do you follow this person everywhere he goes? What gives you the right to say he doesn't love his enemies or doesn't love those who dislike him? Jesus wasn't only about healing people, doing miracles, and telling people messages in parables. He also chased out with cords money changers in the temple. He called, religious leaders snakes, white washed tombs. He ate with sinners, but He didn't participate in whatever sin they are guilty of. He didn't just walk around giving religious leaders hugs. He gave a sharp rebuke in front of Peter when Peter refused that Jesus would go and be handed over to be delivered to die. Love your enemies, doesn't mean you lower God's moral standard till the God haters like you. It doesn't mean you add sex jokes, fat jokes, fart jokes to the way you live in order to be accepted. It doesn't mean you are to never bring up God, holiness, sin, judgement of God or death. It doesn't mean if someone tells you to follow some preacher who is a blatant false teacher who doesn't believe in the Bible or only believes in some of it yet is considered to be a Christian by others. It doesn't mean if you know that is true by that person that you are supposed to just keep silent say nothing.

Hearing over and over God loves you feels nice, but what happens when one doesn't respond to God appropriately to do what God is telling them. Doesn't respond appropriately to God telling them something they said to someone else was wrong or something that they did was wrong and they need to fix it. Wait a minute, God loves me. He could never be displeased with words or an action from me. People can think that, but there is no Bible verse to prove it. Telling yourself a million times God loves you isn't going to erase God from dealing with your heart or displining you if He chooses.

I like that occasionally my pastor will have us stand for the reading of the Word because of how it shows how important the Word is. It is important for us to be reading God's word as well because if we are only going to church on Sunday as part of growing spiritually, we can and will eventually get spiritually dehydrated.
