The Jamaican bounce hair gets frizzy so easily when it's separated so what I did was separated them into 2 I believe and I rodded all of them and dipped in boiling water and let them dry on the rods overnight... it cut down on the frizz A LOT! It did so well I was able to use it for 2 installs never needed to recurl it 😊

@@dyshaecockrell650 @ash Tuck blue and peach for one style, white for another., I believe purple as well... it js depends on what style curl you want.... the bigger the curl it won't last as long
Putting the hair between the cornrow parting to close the gap is very smart!
This is one of my favorite crotchet styles and it only costs me $20 for two bags of hair! I will def. return to this style for the summer. I understood you in the first vid as I've used that technique for a couple years but it was nice that you made a detailed video, beautiful job!

Just did my hair with Jamaican bounce and took it down 2 days later. It was way to course and frizzy for me and my leave out was just not behaving at all. Regardless, you rocked it perfectly!

I just got this style done today with this exact same hair . Lucked up and found the hair in the last hair store I went to and I love love love it . The versatility of pulling it up . My hairdresser cut sooo much off the hair and it's still big but I love love this!!! Thanks for putting this up 👍🏾

Thank you! Color 1b. I suggest getting as close as you can to your natural color if you're not doing ombre...but I guess it's all personal preference.

I wish she showed how she blended her natural hair in front. When she takes down the flat twists her hair is not curled but in the next cut it’s naturally curled and blended

How do you maintain it and keep it from getting matted? (Satan Cap? - Do you ever have to refresh the curls or is there a way to keep the frizz to a minimum? How long will this typically last for you?
I have a video on my bedtime routine. I just put in a high pony and cut the tangles out every few days. I've worn it for 2 weeks but I'm sure it will last longer.
Try a satinbonnet they work very well with crochet hair.
