UPDATE: The hair is not soft enough for me which is a bummer bc the look matches perfectly! Try this style with one of the other brands mentioned in the description box. It's been awhile since I've used those, but I'm pretty sure they're better and the same price. If you use this hair make sure you're aware of other ways to soften it up ( blowdrying it, fabric softener, etc...). I kept it in for 4 days not bc it was super hard to manage, but because that's just what I do! If you want to use this hair 1 1/2 pack would give a less fuller look and cutting it short made it easy to brush out and braid at night. At night 1 & 2 I braided the hair back up in about 5-6 big twists. Night 3 & 4 I just pulled it back in a ponytail. ⚠️⚠️ I saw your comments on how I take out crochet & thought this entire time I already had a video. Turns out. I DON'T! Lol So, I WILL make one the next crochet install if y'all want, however, there are so many videos already on how to take crochet hair out.

Tried this a few years ago and it looked so good and I got a lot of compliments bc people thought it was mu hair but WHEW CHILE it did not last...it was tangling like crazy, getting bigger and bigger by the day, and the amount of manipulation it required was tugging too much at my roots so I was getting headaches. Definitely a great short term (1.5 - 2 week weeks) style.
Honestly the biggest thing that stopped me from doing relaxers is bleaching my hair, even if I dye it dark right after, it makes my curls pop and my hair is just so freaking soft and smooth with no frizz. And my natural hair always looked frizzy unless it was wet. 3c/4a but naturally I don't have curls, just waves. When I bleach my hair, something magical happens and it just brings out the curls I wish I was born with!! 🗣Beautiful smooth thick curls gurrl!! But the key is to deep condition the first few days after the bleach. Thank me later.😂💕
I appreciate the fact that you gave recommendations (hair alternatives, moisturizer, hot water, etc.). You really invested your time in order for our installs to be more successful. I admire that. New subbie!
Used this hair years back and and did a braid out on it (dipped in hot water of course), it was gorgeous. Everyone thought it was mine. Gonna get it again seeing your results as well

This looks incredibly real. I wouldn’t have believed this was not your hair without seeing the beginning. I’m still searching for the right hair to use to do this. And the length is perfect too. Thank you so much!
I've been a big fan of kanekalon braiding hair wearing it loose like this for a year. I experimented one day with left over braiding hair and did different colors. I ended up liking it and it looked very natural. The only time consuming part for me was separating the hair to thin out each section before crocheting it into my own hair but I loved the after result and very durable, little maintenance! P.S. I like what she did at the end! ❤
I have some 12 inch Marley hair just sitting in the closet that ive been trying to figure out what to do with and youve just given me the best idea. I have braids that im im planning to take down at spring break so i will be trying this next. Thanks chica!

I heard you can also blow dry the hair to soften it a bit. This looks great btw. Your tutorials are very helpful and easily achievable for those of us who aren't pro level braiders/stylists, yet. Thanks for sharing.
As usually you did a fabulous job at showing and explaining this natural crochet look! Love it!! I personally like the shorter look, so when I give it a go, I may cut some more to a slightly shorter length than the length you were originally going for. But again, thank you for a wonderful, well done video!! 😊❤️
Love the video, the only questions that I have are how does the back look? How big does it get? What is your night routine to keep this look fab? How long did you keep it in?
Love love!!! 😍😍😍 I did a similar style but never thought to do a braid out. I will attempt this again! Thank you for your AMAZING tutorials! Keep them coming girl!
Omg I’ve had faux locs for a few years which looks so natural but I wanted a change for Christmas and wanted this look because my hair is very close to this texture. I am super excited to have come across this because it’s a exactly what I want! Thank you!!
Such a realistic look to your hair indeed! I’ve always wondered if the dry braid hair could achieve a pattern off brushed out, and you provided the answer. Haven’t tried crocheting it in lately because I just can’t stand that almost skin cutting dryness to braid hair, but if you’ve found a stretchier smoother option please pass that info on. My hair is a combo of b/c grade but I like the way the individual sections look that you’ve achieved, thank you for the suggestions!

I have watched a few of the 4c natural crochet braids installed. I love the look as a non 4c natural. YOUR install is really making me feel like I should just go do it. Leaving the perimeter out to wear a bun sounds amazing. Thank you fir the video.
Would this style be okay to get wet? I’m in need of a protective style for a cruise. I won’t be submerging my hair in water but It may get wet on a water slide or accidentally so yeah. Came out lovely...also any advice for those who can’t cornrow

You did an excellent job! It looks so natural! This hair is the truth! I’ve used it before and everyone thought it was mine! It’s been a while since I’ve installed it but you have just convinced me to go buy it again.
This looks SO BOMB!!! Omgoodness. It’s been about 7 years since I crocheted my hair but this is about to be my go-to. And I purchased a fingercomber wig for like $100 that is this exact same look. I wish I would have thought of this instead!
Everytime I give up on crochet braids I find a video that convinces me to try them again. The last Marley hair I used traumatized me for life. The hair left my scalp irritated and enflamed Nd I took it out 2 hours after installing. . I'm really tempted to try this because I love this look so much.
I know I'm 5 months late. However, this...style...is...amazing!! I will be putting this in rotation. I've been watching so many videos during the lockdown and getting inspired. Chile, this quarantine has been good for something.
I enjoy watching your videos😀I learn so much..When Im watching them I find myself losing track of time ...I get Its true ..Time flys when your having fun...Thanks...
I love this!! I wouldn’t have to put heat in my leave out. Yess! My natural hair tends to shrink all the way up when I wear it out and curly. Definitely going to try this!
I just hope how beautiful black woman such as myself are appreciating our roots or our textured hair as beautiful beautiful it is ♥️♥️♥️The versatility 4C life…. 🌻🌻🌻
Love, love, love this look! Here I am in 2023 running to the beauty supply to get this hair. I have the Jamaican locks in 44 inch. I’ve done this style before years ago, but not with the best hair. I’m hoping mine comes out as yours did. 😊
I tried for years to learn how to cornrow, and I just could not get it until I started watching BeautyCanBraid channel. I kept studying her finger/hand motions until I was finally able to do it! I was so excited lol

Stunning!!! Thank you so much for this video!! Can you please do a follow up on tangling and how long you were able to keep this style in?
My favorite hair for a blowout look I never thought to braid it though I’ve only suffered through Flexi rods on it super cute!!!!!
I love this video so much. I can't stop rewatching it. I really am going to do this style for my wedding!. Thank you❤
GIRL!!! You can't even tell that's not your hair ❤️ that's beautiful
OMG so natural looking.. I'm Loving this Hair!!
I love this!! I wouldn’t have to put heat in my leave out. Yess! My natural hair tends to shrink all the way up when I wear it out and curly. Definitely going to try this!
omggg. definitely trying this as i take these box braids out!
8:20 Hairline so perfect, it almost looked fake like a lace-front. Gorgeous healthy hair!
Love it, it looks so natural on you! 😍
I just hope how beautiful black woman such as myself are appreciating our roots or our textured hair as beautiful beautiful it is ♥️♥️♥️The versatility 4C life…. 🌻🌻🌻
You've done it AGAIN! This is great! Thank you!!!
Love, love, love this look! Here I am in 2023 running to the beauty supply to get this hair. I have the Jamaican locks in 44 inch. I’ve done this style before years ago, but not with the best hair. I’m hoping mine comes out as yours did. 😊
Hi . Wondering how it came out and if the hair was easier to use?
@@punkyreggaeparty8786same here
How did it go?
How did you learn how to cornrow? I’ve watched every RUclips tutorial and still managed to mess it up! Lol your hair looks amazing... as always!
I tried for years to learn how to cornrow, and I just could not get it until I started watching BeautyCanBraid channel. I kept studying her finger/hand motions until I was finally able to do it! I was so excited lol
I know how to braid but when I'm feeling lazy I'll do flat twist under my crochet hair and that works just as well. You can always try that way.
Teena Taylor thank you! I’m going to check her channel out!
walnide polydor thank you! I’ll give it a try!
@@michellecovington_ You're welcome 😉
Oh Jesus. This is great. Thanks for this. Btw.. Your little boy scared the crap out of me I was like issa ghost lol he appeared and disappeared before I blinked. I love the look I will definitely try it. Thanks sis.
Beautiful hairstyle, am definitely gonna be trying this style soon but... with a twist. I just subbed. Congratulations in advance to 100k subscribers 🎉🎉🎉
Ola Hairessence Hello, I come to tell you my testimony: I prayed before, I read my bible, but I suffered I was oppressed I thought that God did not love me, I had not experienced, lived is I had not had the revelation of God's love. I had gone on a spiritual retreat is one evening an old man says: what have the empty heart approach, my heart was empty, I was even angry with God, I was in depression, I cried every day but I was thirsty for this God so I approached is God had filled me with him (he and love) and I knew that God loved me I cried, I was almost on my knees 🧎♀️, his love and so powerful. And now I am baptized I understand that he loves me, when I am hurt there and there. But I tell you its so that you can see that it is not a religion but it is a relationship (the virgin, water blessed practices) God does not want it he loves you he wants your heart . You too can live something with God you can receive salvation thanks to Jesus Christ you can just pray is say:
.Jesus Christ I don't know where you exist but where you are really reveals you is manifest to me. In the name of Jesus amen
. Jesus I know you exist I ask forgiveness for my sins is I accept you as my lord is my savior, manifest yourself in my life, act in my life, attract me to you, lead me please.
In the name of Jesus Christ amen
Elisa Boucher Thank you for the message. I’m also a Christian and a true believer of Christ.

So pretty! My crochets have never turned out like this
This is so amazing! I haven't had much luck with crochet style but this is super natural and I definitely want to try it out.
Thank you for sharing! I love the end result! Can you tell me where you got the black wrap to lay your edges? Also, what foam product did you use on your braids?
I don't comment but this I am going to try. Birthday is around the corner and I want something easy to maintain and do on my own. Yass
II would def check out the other brands/hair types I listed in the description. If you plan on keeping it in I think they'd work better! ( & happy early birthday! )
Wow! Love the look and you are so pretty! First time viewer.
Girl. Issa look. I might have to make this my next style. I need to watch some tutorials on how to 2 strand twist my leave out.
You're absolutely correct quality hair!! A master blend preferred
