  • Eskuta quick overview of my electric bike road legal electric moped
Here is my first attempt at doing an over view of my Eskuta. I decided to go to the local graveyard as I knew it would be quiet and I wouldn’t mind talking as much. This is something I’ve never done before and I will do more as my confidence grows.
This electric bike has a thumb throttle that helps get you to walking speed then it relies on pedal power / pedal assist.
I’ve been riding this bike for a few weeks now and this channel shows some of the images I’ve seen on the way.

Seen a few of these Eskuta vids. Would be interesting to see a review about basic things like anyone had a puncture on the road, how difficult to repair. Can you park it on a bicycle rack ?
Is it easy to steal ? What extra anti theft devices can be used ?
Can you use pedals only to get home if battery is dead ?

I should make a list of all your points and do a video.

It's not road legal unregistered. To be a ebike the UK must have type approval even if it meets specification. They don't meet ebike 36 volt maximum spec

No idea what you’re on about and I know you haven’t either because since having this bike I’ve got to know most of the police around here… trust me theses bikes are road legal!

Wrong. They are road legal. They are pedal assisted they don't use a throttle except to bring it to walking speed which is fine.
They have a 250w motor and are within the laws.
No need to register etc. Can't imagine they are particularly quick though given they are much heavier than a normal ebike.

@@jrewillis trust me they are fast, I derestricted mine and it hit speeds of 45kmh with 2 people on it

@@deez9857 there is no way a bike that heavy with a 250w motor will do 28mph with 2 people on!

Try taking it up a steep hill it won’t make it ,

I have done one really steep hill and it did do it but it struggled between 6 and 8 mph but it was extreme. I’ve never had an issue on any roads I’ve come across in Birmingham. That said I’m not that heavy. If you’re fat it couldn’t do it I agree…. Hope this helps 👍🏽
