Hi Chasen, thanks for this video. I just started at a gym last week. The closest bjj gym is over an hour from my house and I have been routinely having doubts about the 2x's a week that I am able to fit in. This video helped me in that way. Thank you. Gonna keep plugging away the best I can.

Thank you for the kind words, and I'm happy the video helped. Training even 1x is better than zero. We can't compare ourselves to others. All journeys will be different! Good luck!

Grappling and BJJ are extremely hard to master. It takes time and dedication. Just keep training, and good things will happen!

Minimum of 5 times a week for me

Same, brother. Some weeks I train 8-9x per week; sometimes I can only make 2-3. Definitely feel way better and sharper on the 5+ per weeks.

I agree ☝🏼 2 days a week is best to start BJJ don’t burnout in one month

I am a black belt under Robin Gracie and i train 3 times a week bjj and about 1 - 2 times a week MMA/SW. I have trained about 14 years total and the last 11 years straight with atleast 3 times a week. I think if you train 2 or less you can maybe learn somethings but you wont be able to go fast up the ranks. 1 times is just to little to even understand the game or learn new stuff. Everyone willbe better than you and get better faster and you will allways be behind i think. 3 times a week atleast is my point :)

Agreed. 2-3 times a week is doable for most people. Students just need to keep going!
