I actually didn't know this, thought you could only hurt the snail in the short window it appears after defeating the summons so I did that a couple of times

This is why ER is the best. Made me feel like playing in good old days where Star/Warcraft, AoE/AoM, Homm3, Half Life and etc rules the gaming world. Also phenomenal boss design

the dungeon literally has a bunch of spiritcaller snails and you have to kill the snails and you see the summons get cancelled

Hardest boss in the game that has been kicking my ass since I first picked it up is gravity! That fker has killed me more times than Milenia, Bayle and Mesmer combined!
The only reason I knew what this fight was when I first fought it, I give thanks to Bloodborne.

i just fight this boss last night, i kill the summon and then i realize there was something bright in the corner, the summon killed me and i was wondering if a could kill the summoner even when he was invisible, i tried it and i killed with 3 hits, it was really funny, you realize sometimes things can be pretty easy

I feel like DM should probably take the ashes / summons route to enjoy the game. who cares about trying to bash your head into a wall 50000 times and be nothing but frustrated. enjoy the game with the tools they give you. people have been looking at the dlc as a giant pissing contest and its kinda sad. you can always come back and try it without that stuff at a later date if you want to but spending 1-2 hours on every boss is just gonna be annoying.
Summons are for filthy casual gamers that don't understand the point of the game is to get your ass kicked while slowly learning until you overcome the boss that was kicking your ass. You must push through the lowest of lows in order to feel the highest of highs.

I really wish everyone would understand each new boss has an armor set and weapon combination that helps you defeat them much easier. Asmon's super heavy hammer build for instance.
I just wish this man would actually play the game and not speed run to boss fights, missing like 90% of the actual game to get straight to the end game like its D4 or something.

The hardest boss in any souls game is urself... I dont like souls games at all i think theyre boring (i would however play elden ring if seamless coop came to console tho) but yeah solo isnt for me espically when its just jump dodge jump dodge dodge swing sword jump dodge lol i understand some people like that but me im bored after the first few mins of a fight. The game is decent as an open world but the fighting is boring but if i had a friend with me to do dumb stuff in the game with id probably still be playing elden ring.. WE NEED SEAMLESS COOP ON CONSOLE FROMSOFT!!!! ASAP!!!
you're just bad at the game. Once you get good you start to love the combat and how they can create the best bossfights in gaming with such limited combat mechanics. Souls games aren't made for casuals and you are better sticking to autoplay games like ubisoft, rockstar or EA games. If you want to prove you aren't a casual, just get better. There's nothing more to it, git gud.
