If you open Task Manager and look at the Processes tab, you may notice there is more than one svchost.exe running on your Windows PC, and you can’t just stop it by killing it within Task Manager.
Svchost.exe is a generic and legitimate Windows process that loads several other critical services for proper Windows operation. But in several cases users are complaining that Svchost.exe is hogging their CPU or Memory resources without obvious reasons e.g. at moments when the user doesn't run any programs.

i have to admit you confuse me you said you enter interlligent transfer service but entered the one under it which was backround tasks infrastructure service and making sure thats running ? hmmmm
I've sifted through so many videos to try and fix this problem. I legitimately had 26~ gb that was just getting chugged out of nowhere, plus some CPU issues. Nothing on taskmanager either, did this, did that, nothing fixed it. Your video though, very fortunately, turned out to be the one to fix this abysmal problem. well, my problem is a bit bigger than that, if I click on Svchost and go to Services the highlighted service, where the virus is in, is Audiosrv and I can't disable that because then my whole audio is gone.
Isn't there a way to actually delete the Virus instead of just stopping the service where the virus is hiding?

@@helloiamaduck9203 of course, I even have McAfee, bot weren't able to detect the problem, but I fixed it myself now, the virus or whatever it was, was hiding inside of a driver and with deleting it, the problem was gone

It's hidden the process. So you can't stop it by ceasing the process individually. You'd have to find the hidden process and quarantine or delete it. But unfortunately it's very well hidden. Same thing happen to me, I did stop the process it directed me to but it only briefly helped. You may need to either follow a removal guide or completely fresh install windows and back up important files.

my windows task bar is gone, and i cannot use the start menu.. also cannot use Alt+Tab anymore. I have no idea how to fix this.
There is also something called Microsoft common language native compiler and Microsoft NET. Framework but it doesn’t hurt my cpu badly but it eats up all of my memory, I think on my RAM, idk, can u help?

Apparently, it is not just a virus but an update to the driver issue resulting in a bug. I just updated my intel arc driver to the latest version and noticed a 10.0 to 12.0 rise in cpu for SVChost.exe. The best solution is to leave the previous version don't update it to the latest available until a newer update solves the issue as a patch. Before updating the intel arc driver SVChost.exe was working fine and cpu was very low 0.something. The solution was to downgrade the latest (most recent updated) intel arc driver version to the previous version. After the solution, SVChost.exe was functioning properly.
@Jack o lanturn yes. I suggest if you did update the driver and are experiencing this issue because it contains a bug, downgrade the intel arc to the previous version. That will solve the problem. Sometimes, some updates might contain a bug or more. Usually, newer updates have a patch within them to fix these bugs.

At 5:25 of your video the huge thumbnail (for a Network Cable fix) is covering up a critical part of what is on the screen. I can't tell if mine looks like yours (because I can't see yours) and am unsure now how to proceed.

In my case it was a Trojan, so I just downloaded the anti malware malwarbytes program, and it deleted the trojan. Now my PC is good again.

Initially it worked fine but after 2 to 3 days, all the services are getting enabled automatically. Any help, please?
try going to services, disabling and stopping diagnostic service host (apply and ok), disabling and stopping SysMain (apply and ok) then going to Windows Update Properties and change to Automatic and start (apply and Ok), restart computer, then go to the additional troubleshooters and running the get up and running troubleshooter, and restart once more. Hope you already resolved this, if not, I hope that helps.

@@veerhatzone9259 the best thing one can do with knowledge is share it, so it’s the least I can do. The problem apparently is windows update is being blocked by a driver update, or malicious software, and this process manually forces the update to initiate. Hope it works out for you

svchost is important. it's a critical system process that is needed for many applications to run. that's why its open alot.
