- Wild Baby Rabbits on Neighbour's front lawn. The mother came back and took care of the baby rabbits after I filmed the nest and covered it up again. Happily, they grew and she moved her family to a new location, and I could cut my grass again.

Be careful in the spring y'all, check your yards for rabbit dens, and before you mow, check under your mowers, sometimes rabbits hide in them.
If you don't want rabbits in your yard there are sonic traps that emit high pitched sounds to scare rabbits and moles away. I have a rabbit warren near my property so we always see a fair amount of rabbits, and rabbit kittens (baby bunnies), it pays to be careful!

@@rebecca8525 jesus christ how dumb can you actually get 🤦♂️ they starved to death after the recording as the mother abandoned them. Obviously they hadn't been abandoned before some tosser disturbed the nest! Not all animals are quite as prone to it, but rabbits in particular will abandon their young 100% of the time if their is human scent on the nest, she will never return. Humans are a predator, she will not risk her own life, the young are too small to move, she wont stay with them there because she's expecting the people to come back..... I have personally seen ferrets eat their own babies because people touch them too soon! Never ever ever disturb any baby animal that young. Once they are old enough to move themselves from the nest it's less likely they will be abandoned but in general just leave nature the fuck alone anyway! Unfortunately the countryside is rapidly getting destroyed by people brought up in towns that are completely and utterly clueless yet think they know better than the country folk.

I found this under my tree. now I walk the yard before I mow. Seen a baby bunny laying perfectly still. I was mowing and could have sworn it was a section of a branch. I went to shove it aside and a white belly rolled over and little guy ran off. after that I built a home for them with cinder blocks. Eh beats laying out in the wide open where hawks are always watching.

@@swig. the parents usually dig well enough to be below grass level so that would not happen, also they usually burrow with several tunnels, if a machine get's close they will instinctively go further underground. Bunny's are smart.

Same, I have the same kind of nest in my backyard, but it’s my ‘dog’s yard’’ so every time I go out I have to cover the bunny nest with a laundry basket & then make sure it’s on covered at night time so mama can come in the yard to feed them!
