Circuit training describes a weightlifting session in which you perform a series of sets in rapid succession, one set per body part, to failure. For example: one set of squats, deadlifts, leg presses, bench presses, dips, pull ups, pull-overs, flies, military presses, lunges, crunches, back extensions, and finger movements in thick clay. The whole body gets worked out. If you do it right, with only a second or two in between sets, your heart will be hammering--it's a technique used for cardio--and if you use enough weight, your entire body will feel as if you've climbed up a building with a car on your back.
I'm really surprised with the diet, I expected much more food actually... the hard part though is the workout/sleep/fight criminals/be bruce wayne schedule. the body needs time to recover and that sleep pattern of just taking naps is just something I've never heard before nor know if would work in real life (if someone has a link to a video/ article explaining that, it would be much appreciated). that said, the diet is absolutely sustainable, even long term.
Holy cow that is some training Batman goes through. Taichi, 30 minutes/1 hour swimming, 5 miles to 10 miles run man that is a intense. It is incredible that he finds time to sleep.
Nightwing's cardio and upper body workout is pretty much the same as Batman's. However; since he has been training since he was a Kid. He doesn't push himself as much with excessive sessions. Since he does more acrobatics and free running then Batman during patrols. Nightwing relies more on agility, Batman uses his cape for gliding and helping with landings.
You are the RUclipsr we need, but not the one we deserve. Your content is beyond amazing and so are you. You should have way more than one million subs by now.
Circuit training refers to those exercise stations you see at parks where you do an exercise for X amount of reps and then you jog over to the next station to do a different exercise. Not many of these circuits are around these days from what I can see, but they do exist still in some parks.
My school circuit training involves, 30 push ups (you mess up you start over) sprint 4 ladders, 15 sit ups, jump rope 20 times both ways, 25 step-ups, 20 mountain climbers, and 25 block jumps, and in between every two stations you have to run up and down a flight of stairs twice, and then repeat. Batman, you have my respect.
Alfred: can I persuade you to take a sandwich with you sir Batman: I'll get drove through Batman forever I'm pretty sure that was put in purely for the fast food toy promos.
The fact Batman does this stuff 24/7, and he’s STILL squeezing the time to make his own gadgets and making antidotes to poisons he learns of in 0.6 seconds. Even with Alfred’s help it would be a nightmare.
😨 Jesus! I would fall flat on my face go into a coma or die if THAT was my food intake and exercise. Do you not like Jason? I know you hate Damian, I do too. But what's your thoughts on Todd?
i know this is off topic but nightwing is in arkham knight because a devoloper slipped a design of nightwing he said that they did great designs like scarecrow and nightwing
Hey Knightwing, I know this is off topic for this video, but I just wanted to make a request for you to do a video on the brightest day batsuit. It's one of my favorite batsuits and Brightest day is one of my favorite comic books. Also I think it would be perfect with your infinite bat-knowledge to give the suit the justice it deserves. Well thank you for taking my request into consideration, I know you must get 10's of thousands of messages like this everyday so even if you don't do the video thank you for at least reading the comment.
Actually, Batman did enhance his performance with a precursor to Bane's steroid called Venom serum. He eventually crashes hard when quitting the drug and then vows not to become dependent on drugs again. This story is collected in the trade simply called Venom, and originally ran in the title Legends of the Dark Knight.
Circuit training involves creating separate stations of each light weight and high repetition exercises such as push ups, burpees, pull ups, dips, sit ups, Russian twist, kettlebell swings etc And you have to repeat all the exercises rounds
U could actually do a modified version of his schedule if u wanted to, all in all it is possible, he exceeds the normal limit for water drank because he sweats so much of it out during his training, whereas the calories he's eating goes to repair his muscles and since fat is essentially (when it's used properly) stored energy that helps as well, even though he really doesn't have any fat on him. Oh and circuit training is really the same is interval training with high intensity (high reps, going from one exercise to the next without rest, so on and so forth) Love all of your videos man keep it up! :)
I think circuit training is a series of intense workouts with a very small amount of rest time between each set. It's also know as H.I.I.T training or High intensity interval training, Great video as always, love all your content :)
Circuit training is when you do around 10 different types of exercises. They are about 3 minutes on each type of exercise and you just do it all again.
I know you said this entire thing is unrealistic, but thinking in a realistic manner I can only imagine how fucked up it would getting off these schedules even briefly for different escapades such as being out all night for Arkham City and coming back having to maintain that and then Harley Quinns revenge takes place where he is captured like god damn!
Circuit training is having 6+ stations at a gym/weight room. At each station there are specific workouts you need to do to the best of your ability (ex: declined crunches, towel hang, seated rows, light weight squats, bench, etc.) You have 2-3 minutes to complete each circuit and you must complete each station 3, 4, or even 5 times than that. Athletes in wrestling for example (because I'm in the sport) do this as conditioning and as an endurance workout. It definitely helps me out during the pre-season craze but also it can get people in incredible shape, such as batman. I hoped this helped out kwing and others.
Circuit training is a form of body conditioning or resistance training using high-intensity aerobics. It targets strength building or muscular endurance. An exercise "circuit" is one completion of all prescribed exercises in the program.

I am a bit late but yes this is impossible. The diet is easy, but the workout schedule is not possible. The sleep schedule he uses is not enough to support the recovery his body would need. Not to mention, he takes no rest days. Recovery days are essential to allow your body to grow and develop after a hard workout.
This was some interesting stuff but one question remains. In between workouts, eating, being Batman, taking care of business as Bruce Wayne and sleeping where does he find time to poop? All that food has to go somewhere.
I can do the 5 mile run and then an hour of weight lifting...but then I would be done for the day. And pretty proud of myself too. Putting in another 12 hours of working out or whatever it was, until you figure the time he needs to stop and eat to refuel himself? That's insane. I wouldn't make it to the first hour of the next set of work outs.
Dear lord! And here I thought the regiments my brother went through during the Army basic training years ago was rough! This guy's doing this CONSISTENTLY!!! Honestly I think Dick Grayson's method of training himself is much more balanced and much more believable, but still, he's more of an acrobat. Bruce... he's a walking, gliding TANK. Gotta wonder where he practices his climbing, on actual buildings, or if he does it around Wayne Manor/Tower or inside the many Batcaves. ...actually, now that I think about it, the fact that he skipped out his workout and dietary routines explains SO much of his fatigue in Nightfall. If he misses out even ONE WEEK of any of these exercises/naps would send him back quite a bit!
Circuit training is a form of body conditioning or resistance training using high- intensity aerobics. It targets strength building and muscular endurance.
Circuit training is a form of body conditioning or resistance training using high-intensity aerobics. It targets strength building and muscular endurance.
Batman is the most devoted superhero ever. It's one thing to be a superhero, but to devote every waking second to the fight against crime is ridiculous. I always thought Batman didn't really have any superpowers, but he does, super insane physical endurance. I must applaud you Kwing with your knowledge of Batman, you should be on a Batman gameshow.
Circuit training I would believe is a circuit course pretty much. A non stop workout with running involved. Got a couple stations with each having their own exercises you swap stations every few minutes. God a 30 minute circuit course kills me
Circuit training is where someone does something continuously in a circuit, so they would start with push ups, move into tricep dips, move into sprints and so on. I don't know about American but it's big in the UK, particularly at Secondary School level.
Circuit training would be like a crossfit workout. Could be a lot if reps with 3 to 5 exercises or even more but you have to go through all of them without stopping. Let's say you have 5 exercises in your curcuit then you'd do all 5 and take like a 45 seconds rest and then repeat.
Circuit training involves doing different exercises in quick succession usually upper body followed by lower body so you get an aerobic workout AND a resistance workout simultaneously Example 12 reps or 2 mins of: Bench presses Squats Bicep curls Leg curls Press ups Jump rope Pull ups Lunges Shoulder presses Calf raises Tricep extension Run back and forth between two cones placed 10 yards apart Repeat 5 times It's a pretty intense workout by itself along with everything else you say about no wonder this routine isn't recommended
Ok so circuit training is where you do certain things such as push ups, sit ups, planking in a cycle so like I would do 20 push ups, 20 sit ups, 1 minute planking with 15 second breaks in between each exercise. This is a circuit. Then repeating this circuit creates a set.
Wow! My workout/diet and Batman's workout/diet are incredibly different! I go far long walks (usually loosing about 80-95 calories, drink lots of water, very rarely 1 can of Coke or Mountain Dew, and eat decently healthy (wheat, salads (no dressing) and steak)
For health reasons, batman shouldn't almost never work out, unless it is a slow week on the job. Working out that much would be harmful to your body, and his muscles would have to time to repair themselves.
Circuit training is practically 10 or more different exercises done in succession at set intervals each exercise working out a different body part, and section. It also requires a warm up and a cool down.
I really enjoyed this thank you. I am a gym nut myself as I do mma. There is only a few things that I would mention. You can't work out excessively hard on one particular muscle group more than once every 5 days or so. If you do try you won't grow. The only way around that is steroids/pro hormones as they increase the amount of muscle you build as well as drastically increasing recovery time. When I am on gear I can do the most vicious work outs and be ready to go again 24 hours later hitting the same muscle groups. At my largest I was 207lbs with less than 5% bodyfat, I'm now about 195lbs with 6-8%bf, and let me tell you now that my arms and chest in particular are no way near as big as batmans in the archam games. He looks closer to 240 than 200. I mean if batman was not on steroids there is no way he could fight crime after leg day.
The diet actually seems doable, a lot of it sounds really good, but being the clay face sized person I am, I can't lose my cereal or occasional soda, maybe I could try nightwing's diet.
I thought you should know Kwing, circuit training is where (in a gym) you would spend a minute doing an exercise on everyone of the machines and preferred dumbbell weight in a strict order, usually you'll find yourself circling the gym, hence the name. Its great fun, I've do hourly sessions 3 times a week in the winter. Not on top of what else batman does! :D
You should do a video on batman's intellect and knowledge on the things he know like martial arts, weapons, tracking, science, engineering, medicine, disguise etc.
I've enjoyed Batman AND his fitness and fun facts for a long time. I really enjoyed this and it really helped my day to be a bit brighter! Lookin' forward to the suit episode!
You should change the title to "How Batman Stays Fit" or add a questionmark at the end of the title. Sorry the title is a question, and it nags me that there is no questionmark at the end >_
Kwing, when you said that batman punches Jason Todd in the face for being stupid, he would do that but I'm surprised that when joker died in arkham city, batman didn't take his body to the batcave and use it as a punching bag considering how many times he made joker eat dirt and apparently due to batman, dirt is jokers diet

I figured you would say that due to the username, fantastic username by the way.
i get that nightwing was a born acrobat but from knowing this why is nightwing still faster then batman or is nightwings cardio workout MORE then bats
Nightwing's cardio and upper body workout is pretty much the same as Batman's. However; since he has been training since he was a Kid. He doesn't push himself as much with excessive sessions. thanks for clearing that up :), you should do a whole video of nightwings diet and/or his suit details
PhantomArtist Maybe his Suit, but like I said his meals are pretty basic.
batman is slower because of his belt that has gadgets
Isayah Dorado also batman is way bigger than nightwing, so i guess that slows him down a bit too when compared to nightwing

this isnt impossible.......like at all, also given he's been training all his life
do you have any idea how hard this is?

Yeah this is hard but not at all close to impossible. And the diet would be so easy.
its not hard at all. its like a bodybuilder/ weightlifter or crossfit diet and routine. if you like to workout, batman's routine is kinda gospel.

Circuit training involves doing different exercises in quick succession usually upper body followed by lower body so you get an aerobic workout AND a resistance workout simultaneously
Example 12 reps or 2 mins of:
Bench presses
Squats
Bicep curls
Leg curls
Press ups
Jump rope
Pull ups
Lunges
Shoulder presses
Calf raises
Tricep extension
Run back and forth between two cones placed 10 yards apart
Repeat 5 times
It's a pretty intense workout by itself along with everything else you say about no wonder this routine isn't recommended
circuit training is where you push your limits to the max for a short amount of time with bench presses or whatever is in the gym
The best resource a billionnaire has is his time. He's not working a 9-5 job. I'm sure his personal gym has some great equipment.

Tartar I love question marks
Kwing, when you said that batman punches Jason Todd in the face for being stupid, he would do that but I'm surprised that when joker died in arkham city, batman didn't take his body to the batcave and use it as a punching bag considering how many times he made joker eat dirt and apparently due to batman, dirt is jokers diet
Wow with making that and cleaning the manor and the bat cave I hope Alfred is paid a lot
circuit training is lifting weights and adding or decreasing starting with your max or leading up to your max with no rest between sets
Can you imagine batman on steakout saying "IM HERE EATING PEANUT BUTTER"
The Bat diet also have some eating out . Has to keep Cat woman happy?
I don't think anyone but the bat family members would want to spar with batman lol
