Nice instruction video on how to correctly utilize a ball machine. Usually I see only static moving and striking, which can develop some poor habits. Well done!

Thanks for the video. I actually suggested this a while back ;) Great drills, especially the lateral ones. I love doing ball machine drills to improve my fitness. I've been playing too many matches lately and need to get back to my ball machine. Now I have another reason to get back to it.

Pas mal d'exemples d'exercices assez sympas et exigeants physiquement. 👍
J'aurai bien voulu une image incrustée sur la vidéo avec les réglages du Slingerbag😏

It’s interesting when you serve with the aero plus compared to when you serve with the pure drive plus... your serve is great with that pure drive but man, the kick with the aero is insane when you do it

especially useful for beginners and amateurs to develop a consistant technique. Pros can place the ball correctly and challenge you on every other shot, but see what they do before tournaments... they get a junior or pro player to "emulate" a ball machine :)

This video helped me in trying to decide what machine I want to buy. Though I am leaning towards a slinger bag (mostly because of price), the heavy topspin only has me hesitant. Also, since a lot of the pace comes from the ball speeding up from after the bounce, it makes me think that it wont be challenging enough for practicing volleys.

If you study players with one handed backhands, you note that they all have exquisite backhand slices: Steffi, Roger, Kuerten, Henin.
Secret is mixing slice and top spin on the backhand. Judging each ball on its merits and not trying to drive everything

Nik, any thoughts on the Slinger vs the Spinshot or other machines that have top/neutral/back spin? After watching this video I was set on buying a slinger, especially given the great price, but after reading and watching some reviews, I became concerned with the unrealistic level of top spin at higher speed settings, and was thinking of going with a Spinshot player. On the other hand, if it's good enough for you, I figure it is good enough for a recreational player like myself.

I'm shopping around for a ball machine. I see you are using the Slinger bag, which has a max speed of 45 mph. I see other, more expensive machines that reach max speeds of 85 mph. Do you think it's worth it to get those faster machines for slightly more? Is there a reason why you chose the Slinger bag over the Spinshot Pro / Lobster / Sports Tutor?
