@@TheTennisMentor I've done all three in one go, nearly 3hrs on court, I feel broken but totally worth it, such great workout and lots of practice! Thanks again!😁
Great video and awesome suggestions. I got the bag couple of months ago and keep trying to use it as a heavy hitting feeder. Speed and end of the baseline...that's great, but this helps me work on the technique. Exactly what practice sessions are for :)
Great videos' watched all of them and waiting for my Slinger to arrive. I cannot wait to put these drills into action, just hope the old knees hold up. Cheers mate.
Your job is amazing. Thank you for your advices. I am thinking about getting one and that kind of video will surely help making my ultimate decision 😉😉😃😃
Thank you very much for this video. That's really helpful 👏. I will get a slingerbag next year and I am already looking everywhere on RUclips to find exercices 🙂. Can't wait for trying your exercices. Keep going !
Great videos thank you, they are very helpful. I love my slinger bag - I've had it about a month now and it has definitely improved my game. I printed the PDF you supplied with your "How I train with..." video and keep it in the Slinger. If you create any more PDF's and drills that would be awesome. Thanks again.
Which brand of tennis balls do you prefer using for the slinger bag? Would you recommend pressureless for longevity or is that a bad idea for people with arm issues?
Hi Ashley! Could you kindly try to post some specific drills with the settings at the lowest angle of 20 - max speed - and feed set at medium and high. Much appreciated if you could.
Thanks for showing the settings on the machine. It's one of the most difficult things to get right for practicing. But I love my slinger bag and found your videos helpful. The jump in edits is a bit jarring in your intros. :)
For the ball feeding from the Slinger machine to not get stuck I applied the "Professional-Grade Moldable Plastic Pellets by Polly Plastics" from amazon. I applied it on top of the rotating cross panel. I shaped the mold to have four vertically crossed mold then placed it on top of the crossed panel and have placed a glue to adhere permanently. This will help fix the issue of the ball sometimes not launching and instead will keep a regular steady feed flow. On the dial section for adjusting the ball height from the launch pad I applied a white "Fine Paint Marker for Rock Painting-Stone, Ceramic, Metal, Glass, Wood,Set of 6 Paint Pens High Volume Ink High Volume Ink for DIY Craft" from Amazon. I applied the white marker on the etched black line marker for better visibility, even from a distance. On the opening of the bag from the top entrance to place the racket I placed an elastic fiber string crosswise (made two holes on each side with a heated pointy metal) and that is where I hang my towel. There's more but this is enough for now. Thanks for letting me share.
Does a cheat sheet exist where all the settings can be found? I'm thinking of a pdf where you can see the placement of the machine on the court and a corresponding guide to angle, speed and spin. It should also list how high and fast the ball flies, and where the ball lands. This way, you would only have to follow the instructions and save yourself the tedious search for the right setting.
hi mate looking for a great machine. how is this compare to lobster or spinfire? on the specs it only have a 40mph max speed compare to lobster 130. is that a big factor? tnx
Do you need to have the machine on your side of the court to get the balls landing closer to the baseline? I'm trying to understand how the balls come at you at the highest setting.
No, but you're going to get some heavy topspin. If you are not a 4.0+ player, this can be tricky to handle. The Slinger isn't perfect but it is a good training accessory for the majority of balls played (aka topspin shots) at the 4.0-5.0 level. It is also good for just beginner stuff like this, and is not a good ball machine for those with a UTR 8 or over.
I would love to get the most of my slinger if it worked! I bought one less than a year ago, it stopped working. I emailed Slinger, they were very prompt in responding by claiming its the charger. I followed their instructions to try and fix it and it didn't work. I sent them a short video of the problem. The machine won't turn on, the lights flicker occasionally and the motor makes a loud grinding sound. Once they realized its more than the charger. They stopped responding to my emails. I tried calling their 1 800 number and no one picks up. Just a heads up guys, this company doesn't honor their warranty.
Your settings are way of man. When i put your settings in my slingerbag it gives way different balls and i am placing the machine on exactly the same spot as you do. Approach volley for instance with only 20% angle and middle feed setting it takes way longer for feed and ball is way flatter
@@Hope4unow-7 Yeah, I like mine, but it is definitely my practice machine for certain types of shots and nothing else. However, I think anyone 4.0 to 4.5 can benefit from learning how to handle the heavy top spin it produces, the spin simulates a much harder shot).
I enjoyed my Slinger bag until it broke. Then I was told, "Sorry, your warranty expired after one year, you should have purchased the extended warranty". I didn't even use it more than 50 times and took great care of it. It shall be built more robust
Do you also have a issue with the Slingerbag and balls getting stuck inside of it ant you then need to stop your drill and walk to it to get the balls moving again? Super annoying and a waste of time.
I don't usually write reviews but this was really good. I was undecided but now I am sold. Thanks!
Great drill ideas. Very helpful to show Slinger Bag settings for each drill. Many Thanks!
Thanks so much, I needed inspiration to have more fun with my Slinger, gonna try this afternoon!😊
No problem, enjoy!!

Take some steroids
I'm in the same boat, 57, but i find my knees are getting stronger as i train my legs. Good luck!
Is the topspin a deal breaker? Should I return this and opt for another ball machine?

Hello I hate to bother you but I can’t seem to find that video or PDF? Could you possibly link it or send me the PDF?
Let me know if you have any questions guys!🎾💨
Why? You don't bother replying to any of them here.

I don't mind the grunting ! Very useful video thank you!
Hey Ashley, did you get the oscillator with yours? I just bought my Slinger bag with oscillator, but haven't seen any videos of anyone using it.
Yes I did, i probably use it more without it, but love it when using it! I’ll consider making a video using it!

hello ash..first..thanks for all the vids....just got myself a slinger bag works well in dry, but balls stick when wet.would pressureless balls help?
considering purchasing one right now but i was a bit worried about needing the oscillator to make it worthwhile. Glad that's clearly not the case!
I never use the oscillator. It's too slow and it telegraphs. You use the Slinger to practice specific shots.
Is the clay any problem for the Slinger Bag, when it comes to dirt/clay coming into the machine etc.?
I haven’t found it to be a problem, as long as the balls aren’t caked in clay, then you should be fine. A regular clean is a good idea!
Great video!❤
What stick is that Ashley?Sounds very crisp!
These three machines have some great features but I think I still like the Silent Partner Edge Series. Would love to spend an hour or two with each.
i see some 1-2 year old comments.is the bag still working well?thinking of buying one.i hear a lot of complains for the battery and on/off button.
Ashley, how did you make your Slinger settings sheet? I used LaTeX to create mine. Lot of code. Love the drills

Since I bot me slingerbag, I only use your drills for practice. Super drills, do not need anything else.
Can d machine withstand heat fr hot sun

Why do most the vids show the slinger on the same side of the net?????
Because the topspin bite from the other side is really hard for the average player (and the average player is really a 2.5-3.0) to handle.
@@LowUTR Exactly, that's why I would never recommend a Slinger

a tennisballmachine is expensive and should therefore be suitable for every level. Otherwise it won't be of much use.

How do you pick up all the balls
Dont buy this slingerbag. It is so limited. The amount of spin is abnormal.
It will have to do for us who can't afford better ones.
i need drills for footwork with the machine
