I'll say it time and time again.... Rookie SVT were scary rookies that made an industry obsessed with the Big 3 stop and take notice... 🔥🔥🔥 Rookie SVT definitely ate the competition and leveled up the game... 💎❤️
ROOKIE SEVENTEEEN WAS SO OVERWHELMING NGL. Imagine debuting the same time as the kids whose debut was pushed back time and time again so when they actually debuted they sang and dance as if it's their last. Man, no wonder I stanned them during Mansae era
Speaking of acting, they're actually called the theatre kids of kpop!
Seventeen really brought the fun and theatrics into idol choreography when people were mostly focused on being super cool all the time, and this was just their second release ever so it really made them stand out. Just a few months experience and they already had that kind of command of the stage, their love for their craft really shows ever since day 1
The costumes are school uniforms btw - that might provide some context for the high-energy teen feel to their performance concept here!
ngl, up to now, no rookie ever comes up close to SVT's energy and cleanliness when they debuted. both adore u and mansae are the definitions of sharpness, cleanliness and fun.

it's because Hoshi's very strict in teaching svt and other trainees the basics of dancing. when it comes to dancing every angle is so important look at them now they became one of the most amazing performers
And this was their first comeback after debut 🥺💖 they always give us amazing performances and each time they are always soooooo in synch

Pre-debut, pledis tested them with their choreo [they asked them to perform a routine they had practised for a specific event, and they did not know it], and because Seventeen messed up, they took their rings off them, told them they would have to earn them back. I'm pretty sure they must have collectively decided to never be caught out ever again, because they always hit the mark, every time every performance even with old choreo [just look at their 2x dont wanna cry on weekly idol]/ Might have been a shitty thing to do to them, but, seems to have done the trick.
the way they expanded and contracted so in sync was what made me rly love this choreo!!!!!!!!! like all of them moved with the same speed and they still managed to slay the choreo while moving in and out lskdflksdjlfkjdlsfkj this group is too talented!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t wait for Pretty U. What is everyone’s favorite SVT choreography? Mine is….wow uh, Call Call Call. Maybe. Or Fallin Flower. Or Fear.. that’s a hard question to answer isn’t it.
Mine is Happy Ending, which is pretty underated imo but the choreography fits my bias Vernon so well.

Every member of SVT at every moment of choreo is completely engaged in the performance. It really sets them apart in my eyes. You can watch any member even if they are in the back corner and they are still fully immersed in the song.

Seventeen as rookie is the reason why kpop industry didnt make Big3 agency as standart anymore...seventeen make them realize that small group from small agency have amazing potential too
Pledis may have been broke when SVT debuted but they weren't a "small" agency.
Do you do reactions to "special" performances? Like year end awards and such? If so are they only on patreon?
He will react if a patron requests it, usually awards shows/studio choom/tv show clips/etc are patreon exclusive by necessity as they get blocked on RUclips.
