when they debuted, for almost EVERY stage of adore u, specifically during award shows, they changed the choreo or remixed the song. there are genuinely so many versions of this song and it was one of the most enticing parts of their appeal as rookies
The stage performance one was from KCON 2019. During their debut era where they promoted Adore U on music shows, they changed the intro and some of the choreos EVERY WEEK for different music shows wity different themes too! It was such a fun promotion that time bcs the boys showed different and fresh performances every single week! ❣ mad repsect for seventeen. Always 😍
that 2019 kcon live performance deserves an applause, considering their condition was the worst. since there was Summer Sonic performance in Japan a day before KCON, they had to immediately take a flight after Japan perf and go straight into KCON. and since they performed under a hot weather of over 40℃ at Japan, they were totally worn out, but still did their best at KCON :) glad u get to react to their debut song, can't wait till next one!
One main thing I wanna point out is that their performance (specifically the one you reacted to) was 4 years after their debut. That's why a lot of the choreo was switched up (I do not expect the three who were carrying Vernon to still be able to do it when Adore U is in the middle of their set lol). Also, at this point they were senior artists, so songs (like their debut song, Aju Nice, Mansae, etc.) that came from earlier on in their career are those songs where they goof off as a treat to longtime fans.
debut/rookie seventeen were always quite literally performing like rent is due. pledis (seventeen's label) was in a terrible financial spot back then (i mean the guys didn't even have in-ears until a year in), the fact that seventeen even debuted was miracle. you can tell that every time seventeen went on stage they performed like it could be their last time. they were just grateful to be there in that moment. the energy they brought to their stages never left. seventeen always give 100%, even during rehearsals. i really admire that about them.
sort of irrelevant comment: i was at kcon la 2019 and i saw their set! basically they would switch the way they faced each song to be fair to the audience. also, svt barely made it onto the stage after a flight straight from japan because of a different performance they had to do. this is why in their hit performance you see them making small mistakes but laughing them off because theyre so disoriented from all the schedules. loved this reaction!
i loooove Adore U!! this and Shining Diamond was choreographed mostly by (if not entirely) by Hoshi!! its cute cuz u can tell his style back then was very playful and creative- very skit-like! i know they used to change up the choreography in every show when they were promoting this !! i love rookie svt 🧡
9:48 I think the performance version was after they performed HIT so it wasn't their main costume for Adore U but yes their silhouettes are amazing ^_^ Thank You for your reaction btw, it helped me with a bit of understanding with dancing!!
@@bao.hao_ really! 😂I do need to go check that out! Hit is one of my favorite choreo from them and man is it exhausting. Idk how they did it with Adore U
Usually on those performances at KCON they preform once to the audience at the front and then for those at the back. For their "Nice" performance they once performed half of the song for the audience at the front and half for the audience at the back. It was at Staples Center when i went to see them.
the best part of adore u and mansae is that seventeen could modify their own choreo. so for the 6(?) or so weeks they promoted this they would modify the choreo to keep people interested. there's actually a video on seventeen's official channel of it. it's great. they did the same with mansae too.
Can confirm the black suit performance was Staples Center, I was blessed enough to be able to attend that KCON. The suits are because it was during the HIT comeback era where they always performed in suits
You should watch the stage mixes of Adore U because of all the choreo changes they did for different performances! There were a lot of fun mixes and I’m sure you would like it hahaha
I'm sure svt interacted quite a bit with the fans all around the stage in btwn their stages since they have a whole setlist at KCON. Also, if the other comment is correct and they did HIT right before this -- oh man no wonder they changed the choreo slightly bc all their dances are always so intense ;_;
It's funny watching you react to that performance of Adore U actually! Though it's cool you got to see them doing a bit more crowd interacting! Kcon is fun and great time for them to change up bits of choreo in goofy ways. But they normally have much mroe colorful, casual outfits when performing this song, as you can imagine. It's always shocking to watch this particular performance, where they're performing such a bright, youthful song in outfits they'd normally wear for Hit or Fear 😂 such a great angle, though... I don't think i've seen the choreo for this song from above, so that was nice!! I'm glad you liked this song, it truly is so funky and just a lot of fun. Now I'm off to the analysis!!!
It was la kcon so the outfit is really for hit and fear if i remember correctly… that’s why the stage is also sooo big… also seventeen really love to interact with fans🤍
I think this will be a great video for pretty u performance… this is the AAA STAGE - ruclips.net/video/yuPb6p4NKlo/видео.html They already performed few songs on kcon before pretty u (wearing the black suits) so that’s why the energy might seemed lacking… but they were saving their energy in there because the next song is Aju nice (non-stop an on-loop)
I wonder if with different songs they try to face different ways because the choreography makes it hard to do 360 engagement. So maybe this song they faced this direction and another song they were facing the other direction, that way everyone gets engagement, even if its not all in the same song. if that made sense lmao

the way he notices how small the room is really shows how seventeen has grown til now where they have a HUGGGEEE practice room like wow their growth
after all those reactions, Emeroy finally saw baby svt 🤣
lolol

The fact that this is their debut song and they're 100% involved in song and choreo making always amazed me.

Just waiting for someone on patreon to suggest pretty u lol! Anyways ayeee more svt content, we love to see it!
Yes! Almost 6 years later and Pretty U is still my fav SVT choreo
he actually reacted to it already- keep an eye out :)

for their 4 yr anniversary, they released a video of them trying out diff intros for this song! it's worth checking out, to see their bts work!!

Thanks for looking at Seventeen.
I love Adore U.

Jeonghan, Minghao and Seungkwan are the three lightest members. They wouldn't have been able to carry Vernon after his growth spurt. Lol.

I hope you upload a reaction to their fear dance practice too
didnt you react to the practice video before?
would you also please react to SEVENTEEN’s “Good to me” “Crush” and “Not Alone” choreography videos pleasee!
of all the songs you choose the one that has several changes in the choreography:/
I didn't choose it. The patron picked it. Maybe you can request something so you don't cry about it.
