Shabbat Shalom, Darren! Great explanation on the "eye for an eye!" It looks like the description from last week's Yitro parsha is what is used as the summary above. How exciting incorporating your teachings with Shalom Macon... such a fantastic community!
I have a question about the restitution issue with regard to commercial enterprises. I have recently had to seek compensation from a very large national company that cost me over 10k in negligence / dereliction of duty. There have been lies and shoulder slopping on their part. The case is now with a government office. Many others have been in a similar position. Are you saying that I should have not sought redress, rather just let them get away with it and do it time and again? I'm interested to hear your view.
Great question, Joanna. Your particular case is not what either of these are referring to. In your case you need litigation. In an ideal world it would be handled by a Torah court.
Shabbat shalom from Rogers, Arkansas.
Shabbat shalom, brother!
The merge makes total sense and will really help bring the two communities together.
Thanks for this teaching - Baruch Atah Adonai Eloheinu Melech HaOlam - Shabbat Shalom
Thank you Mr. Huckey! The eye for an eye thing always confused me as a Messianic gentile.
Baruch HaShem. Be sure to catch this week’s video over at @Shalomacon!

@EmetHaTorah thanks for the clarification. So many times I have heard all sorts of ideas suggesting we should just sit and suffer the loss.
Thanks!
Thank you so much, brother! Blessings & Shavuah tov!
Sweet deal
