  • Peter Murphy hosting 120 including live performance of Disappearing (1995.05.28).
If you are an avid 120 fan and a trader/collector of actual episodes of the show, do please drop me a line. Although I have a fair number of shows, I am always looking for more in order to archive as many as possible, particularly from the Dave Kendall era.
If you recorded the show on VHS and still have your original video tapes but don’t have the capability of transferring to dvd and/or digital, I’d be more than happy to transfer them for you and send your original VHS back to you along with dvd and/or digital files.

    That was great, thanks!
I saw Pete two nights in a row on his July of '95 Wild Birds tour. I also saw that band Pete announced, "Extra Fancy". Crazy show, at TT The Bears.

Awesome!!! I also saw him twice on that tour...both with Jewel opening...in Rochester, NY...and at a baseball stadium in the mid afternoon in Norfolk, VA...very odd to see the Godfather of Goth at 3pm on a hot summer day!!

Yes I saw him in Ventura, L.A. and San Diego on the Wild Birds tour. Such a great idea to start this channel...

What was really funny about the Boston leg of that tour.
When Jewel came out... At front-and center (FOH), I turned around and saw a sea of ghouls...!
People started yelling at her, "HAVE YOU EVER EVEN MET THIS GUY (Pete Murphy) BEFORE?!"
      Pretty fun show.
The following night, he played The (old) Strand in Providence. Front and center again. Pete came out onstage like a statue... And he had a small red spear painted on right cheek..Just a dash of paint. But, he went back to being mannequin-esque that night, unlike the night before, where he was telling all of us to, "wear colors!~
"Funny, cos he bent down and looked, then waved at me --as I was wearing a turquoise (or "Ming") blue silk shirt.
What sucked about Providence was that, an old friend went (Mary, as usual) with a pro-gear camera and she had her film taken away by security... Eddie (The Hundred Men, Ex-UK Decay) Branch came out and was trying to talk to knucklehead security guy, to let him know that Pete was okay with that (grown) woman, taking his photos. (Back in the 80s, she used to follow him around the country.)
What was great about that gig, was watching his old trick where his eyes will never ever meet yours (which, unfortunately has since changed with age.)
As he is looking downwards, he'll slowly raise upwards - but with his eyes closed, but will slowly start to open them as he gets 'crowd level', then drops his pupils down from his lids--just as his vision clears the tops of our heads, hence never making eye-contact!
