I still remember my reaction when Total War: Warhammer was first announced, and me telling my brother. As we were both big Total War and Warhammer fans, it was awesome.
And now, can't wait for Total War: Warhammer 3. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!

Its like chronciles of garbage games, whats goosebumps about it? After Medieval 2 every TW was trash due to Warscape Engine. Only with whats TW Warhammer now have the issues been fixed although at Warhammer 3's release it was just as bad once again
is there any reaction clip on when this was shown live the first time? I'd love to see it.
This was such a good ode to the series and a fantastic build up top the introduction of fantasy to the series as well :-)

For some reason I can imagine a fanmade trailer where all of the factions throughout total war are duking it out
Romans vs Carthaginians vs French Legion vs The three Kingdoms etc etc...
And then a warp rift opens revealing the warriors of Chaos and finally the Empire of Man joining in the free for all and all the other armies are all like: WTF?! 😱😱😱😱
Empires Fall, Empires Rise, but only one thing connects them all. WAR.

Nope, and with Three Kingdoms being recent, we might not see a TW:WH3 until a year of two. I seriously wanna see the eastern kingdoms. lol, the timing is just too perfect, Three Kingdoms involving China, and the eastern lands of Warhammer involves Fantasy China.

My first game was Empire: Total War, and I loved the shit out of it. I got hooked on the franchise, and on RTS' in general.
I remember there used to be a games workshop in my town, which I adored. It took me nine years to step into it, but I had always loved going by just to see the dioramas they set up in the windows.
Seeing what were at the time my two favorite franchises collide was a feeling I have not yet reexperienced. I've felt hype for movies or books or games, but never have I felt that childlike, eleven year old joy and anticipation again.

did you ever try Medieval 2 and its expansion of Kingdoms?
@@BringDHouseDown, I picked up Medieval 2 relatively recently, but do have Kingdoms. I know about the Warhammer mod, but have never gotten around to playing it.
@@beatthegreat7020 I think third age mod is even better, it will surprise you and it’s submods like MOS 1.7

Truly we are lucky to have such a fantastic game series, considering the amount red flags that this would be a trash game: from Rome 2 and Atilla being a hot mess at launch to Games Workshop planning to discontinuing Fantasy mid development. This game is truly a marvel, here's hoping that CA can top it at the end of its life cycle.

I know its been 5 years later, but i dont think Lorde fits in these games, i know what lyrics are, but she appeals to edgy teenage girls, who arent playing total war, if anything "Art of War" by Sabaton is better to describe those songs
As a very non edgy player in my mid thirties I strongly disagree. We are all entitled to our personal tastes of course, but the Lorde track feels more epic and sits well with every era. Sabaton, on the other hand, is just too loud and fast - it suits a 20/21st Century war montage far better.
Admittedly I don't care for Sabtaton's style of music, so perhaps I am biased...
