I love the fact that the Tomb Kings fight for the Order forces. Destroying the cliché of undeads being always the bad guys in fantasy worlds.
Best shot is of a Necrofex Colossus being destroyed by a Hierotitan.
2 undead forces, one fighting for order, one fighting for Chaos. How hilarious that it's the ORIGINAL Necromancers being the Order.

In warhammer there are good and bad factions and then there is chaos and they all understand that it is worse than anything and it would mean the end of them all so they fight together, they would probably fight eachother again after defeating chaos. (that never happens because the end times was written awfully)
The tomb Kings are basically neutral. They don't care either way as long as they get left alone. Chaos has a bad habit of not leaving anyone alone though, so the TK end up fighting alongside order more out of coincidence than anything. Remember that Settra was aided by elves during a harrowing war against daemons once, and his way of showing gratitude was not slaughtering the elves after the battle, letting them leave his lands alive. That's about as friendly as a Tomb King gets.
The Tomb Kings were pretty much single handedly holding back the armies of Arkhan the Black and the Vampire Coast
The Tomb Kings are bad guys- just not the worst. Settra is a ruthless tyrant who seeks world domination and to be a god among men, but he isn't stupid: he knows Chaos is a grave threat and he refuses to bow to them. He also has some mutual enemies with the Order forces, so he allows for an alliance of convenience until the Storm has passed. After that, the forces of Order had best keep an eye on him.

I'd watch an entire movie of Teclis just "accidentally" insulting Thorgrim and his retinue while Franz tries to keep them from killing each other.
One gotrek and felix book has them interacting with Teclis, some hilarious moments there.

Crazy how among all those characters present, some of whom lived centuries, it is a human who showed the greatest wisdom to see how all their squabbles and ambitions meant nothing if all was lost

The Childike sense of wonder, and hope of humanity is endearing to the elder races.
Such emperors are fairly rare. Usually the Empire is pretty devided, with every elector having his own ambitions. And a lot of useless emperors.
There are only 4 significant emperors in over 2500 years. Sigmar Heldenhammer, 1st and founder, Mandred von Zelt, better known as Mandred Skavenslayer, for fighting off serious skaven imvasion, Magnus von Bildhofen, better known as Magnus the Pious for defeating Asavar Kul and ending the Great war against Chaos, and now Karl Franz.
Long lifespans , longer grudges
The gift of living shorter lives manifests in humanity's willpower, they need to figure out what is important, cowards resort to necromancy. To be human is to accept the finiteness of your own existence and endeavour to create something that will go beyond you.
I mean, Teclis was pretty keen on doing that too, it's just no one wants to listen to him.
(Though Thorgrim makes a valid point in establishing that he doesn't really represent Ulthuan)

I initially thought Thorgrim was being really unreasonable even for a Dawi; however, I think he was fine till Teclis said, "With the Asur's guidance...". The dwarfs have every reason to not trust the elves given their history and Thorgrim has a point about Teclis being there instead of Tyrion or Alarielle. He isn't exactly the leader of the High Elves, but the High King and Emperor are there and the elves just send Teclis. He did have some "small" grounds to be suspicious 😅
In the trailer you can see that Kislev, Ulthuan and Cathay are under attack. that's why they've only sent emissaries. Because their Leaders are needed on the Homefront.

So true end times are full of ai cheats. I know I trow hate but I'm just disappointed on how it all works. AI is not only cheating but it's hilarious as well. Diplomacy is bad as hell.
In their defense, both Kislev and Cathay are constantly holding back Chaos, or preparing to hold back Chaos. It’s likely why none of dragon children or Katarina (potentially Kostaltyn; probs spelled that wrong) are there. And if Techlis is gonna bungle foot it (best intentions aside) right out the door, and Thorgrim is going to (rightfully) call the HE on their bullshit, I too would probably stop wasting my time on negations that have already gone out the door in terms of international relations. But Karl is the GOAT of getting people who don’t like each other to work together, so by Sigmar he’s got my vote.

And his Thronebearers are pretty much legendary fighters one and all to the degree where everyone on this summit should really avoid fighting them.
Always liked dwarves for that reason, always ready to fight no matter the odds

That final shot where Katarin stands alone and Karl lands next to her to face Archaon and the hordes of chaos is mighty.

With a certain exception, the Tomb Kings are at worst Lawful Neutral. Settra wants to restore his empire eternal, but is pretty fine with others who dont interfere. Leave him and his claimed land alone and the Tomb Kings are fine with you. Unless you're undead. They actually loathe other undead. Their state was kind of an accident. Intentional necromancy, especially considering Arkhan, is a big no no for them.
Chaos was doing good in that trailer until the humans got to t3 and started popping out artillery. The true reckoning of chaos.
Fits the game, aye. Most baddie factions only do well enough until Order gets to tier 4-5.
That's why you either have artilery by turn 50 of you die in chaostide

This game collectively is so insane. I remember getting the Wood Elf DLC for Warhammer 1 back in the day and thinking. "Wow now they've got a ton of variety in the game! Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Undead, Demons, dangs its crazy."
Since mountain upon mountain of new stuff has been added.
The leaders meeting gives me council of Elrond vibes. Fantastic trailer.
Warhammer is basically LOTR with grim and punk spirit.
My personal favorite part has to be the end when the men of the Empire and the men of Kislev stand shoulder to shoulder against the oncoming storm once more, a return to the days of the Great War Against Chaos. Imagine what the roar of the Little Grom's and the Great Cannons sounds like, or the sound of the Winged Lancers and Demi-Griff Knights slamming headlong into Juggernauts and Chaos Knights. The full might of the nations of men making it's stand in defiance of the Dark Gods all while under their gaze. Truly magnificent stuff.
That ending always makes me laugh for one reason. You see all of these leaders making really cool entrances: Karl Franz on the back of Deathclaw, Tsar Katarina (I think) on a bear, Archaon and the various Greater Daemons marching across the battlefield. All of these badass entrances. Then there's just Wulfrik running past the camera 😂.
The shot of Gotrex and Felix facing skarbrand is epic till this day.
So damn excited for this. CA has clearly heard what the community wants (being able to play IE even if you don't own the 1st or 2nd game) and the first new dlc race.

Yes but you dont get access to any of the factions from the previous games if you dont own them, which is exactly how it worked in the previous title. Not sure what your talking about with "clearly heard what the community wants" since they are doing the exact same thing as last time.

Can you IMAGINE how amazing it'd be for a true Order versus Chaos campaign, a more scripted scenario of all Order races coming together to battle overwhelming odds.
WH2 had the Order Tide as a regular occurrence, but I don't know how common that is in WH3 these days.
What i love about this trailer that theres so much love for each faction here, everyone gets their short spotlight, everyone gets a cool moment, theres a representation of heros of each faction.
From a full on fight scene to a skaven cheering while everyone around him gets blown up. Every scene, every line, oozes love.

Man, I love fighting all these factions but seeing them all band together to literally have the forces of just good and evil fight is something beautiful and sends shivers down my spine. The kind of feeling you get watching allies come together in Lord Of The Rings to unite against an evil horde. Makes me wish there was more of a 'together we unite' game mode that literally just has the forces of good vs evil.
Hype. Don't even care that I paid for every single game and DLC. The more people buying/playing WH3 the better for everyone.

@@RRRRRRRRR33 counterpoint: Khorne wasn't trying to kill him and just wanted to teach him a lesson (sneak attacks are for cowards). On the other hand, it's Gotrek and Felix. One is the literal avatar of a god and was the only mortal to survive the end of the world and just dip into AoS (excluding mortals who became gods) and the other has survived having to adventure with a legendary slayer.
Oh yeah, they also already killed a bloodthirster. They did struggle there, however that was in the first years of their travels and by Archaon's invasion they had decades more experience. Gotrek also gets for power from his axe as he goes (given that the axe is what makes him an avatar of the dwarf god)
I want an Epic TV Show, its Title would be Warhammer: Tales of the Old World. Henry Cavill as Karl Franz. Season per Season we get to know other factions better but in the overall story we follow Karl Franz from beeing a young boy to become a battle hardened ruler. And in the End , in the last Season he is facing the end times with his allies

I just love the shot with the Wood Elves and Lizardmen just charging out of the trees. It just looks so epic, I love lizardmen. Just the other day I played as Nakai unionizing all the good factions together, and the only reason why they don't have beef with each other (aside the dwarfs and tomb kings), is because my faction is the strongest and is like: Either we fight together, or I beat you all down to the ground.
Still hoping for some kind of epic adventure game in this world. Weve got their left for dead remakes, and these total war games, but we lack some kind of open world adventure game in the warhammer universe and I cant help but to think it would do great

plus it would be incredibly funny to have a Dark Elf, a Skaven, a Chaos Dwarf and a Vampirate in the same RPG party. imagine all the betrayal.

In LOTR, halflings are the embodiment of a simple, good person. They enjoy quiet, traditional, happy lives. Halflings in Warhammer are irritating little midgets that infuriate most people and who's only claim to fame is making really good food.

Imo, an overlooked detail: When the Order factions begin arguing amongst themselves, the slides we're shown are images of Chaos being victorious until Karl restores order with Ghal Maraz. This is a great detail, because Chaos as a *force* grows in power the more and more the forces of Order are divided, being shown by the slides being presented over their conflict, showing it being overpowered by the symbol of the Empire and Good, Ghal Maraz, uniting everyone under Karl's words.

This was such a boss as trailer!!! Grombrindal and Tyrion back to back gave me chills. All I can say is too bad I spend just as much time fighting order factions as I do disorder. Also can they bring back coalitions.
