  • Pat Bradley was born on March 24, 1951, in Westford, Massachusetts. She turned pro in 1974 after a successful amateur career. She quickly made a name for herself on the LPGA Tour, capturing her first tour victory in 1976 at the Girl Talk Classic.
    Pat Bradley's career is highlighted by her triumphs in major championships. She has won a total of six major titles:
    1980 Peter Jackson Classic (now known as the Canadian Women's Open)
    1981 U.S. Women’s Open

    1986 Nabisco Dinah Shore (now the Chevron Championship)

    I Always enjoyed watching Pat play! She had a lot of fire, and a really great golf swing! I wish she would write a book.

    I saw her play a few days before this. Swing still looks good.
