Maybe she's actually good at making sandwiches, who knows? My scariest moment was in Code Veronica. As your leaving the medical room where they had been doing autopsies, it interrupts the loading screen door with a small cutscene of one of the body bags moving. Then later on when you are forced to go back in that room you just know one of those zombies got out of the bag.

    • @shawnfields2369
      @shawnfields2369 3 года назад

      Oh, that's a good one. Never played Code Veronica though, sorry. So I'd have to say the scariest one I played in the series, was in RE2, maybe 3 or 4. In RE2, while it wasn't Mr. X breaking through walls like the Kool-Aid guy, although that IS pretty damn scary, I'd say one horrifying moment in that game is when you hear G(William Birkin), roaring in the police station, as Claire, and then hearing Sherry say, "That's him, that's the thing I'm running away from!", or another, when you see either the Police Chief, Brian Irons, or the reporter, Ben Bertolucci, getting eviscerated from the inside, and seeing the little G monster things just crawl off, like something out of Aliens or something... or just seeing G, for the first time, and seeing what looks to be a half-man, half-monster, which also has a pipe in one hand, and a claw on it's other hand, and guess what? Now YOU have to fight it! On a tight walkway in the original, and in a generator room in the remake, but it doesn't mean G is any less scary... and when G keeps transforming throughout the game, I think I almost shat myself a few times. And I played the game for the first time back in 1998, during September, the week before my birthday I believe... when I was a kid, playing the scariest game I'd ever played at the time, on the n64, with my dad, (until RE4 came out on the GC, then that became my favorite RE game). But RE2 is scarier than 4 in a lot of ways, but 4 is a good game, there's no denying that. But the memories I have with RE2 and it's incredible remake, (which Code Veronica BADLY needs), are unforgettable. But out of my favorite scary moments from RE2, it's probably the G transformations. Sorry for the long message though.

    The very first time you run into a regenerator in RE4. You panic so damn much because you hear it’s breathing, it shambling towards you with the terrifying music that starts playing and you’re in a tight area and you shoot it repeatedly and you have no idea why it isn’t dying and it is just not a good time

    • @shawnfields2369
      @shawnfields2369 3 года назад +3

      Agreed. The regenators are creepy as hell, and the way they breathe, and the way they shuffle towards you, and the way you first see one, Leon asks "What were they doing here?", and then later on, it disappears, and after you got the keycard and as you're leaving the creepy cold lab, it opens the door, and you have to either run by it, or shoot it, hoping it stays down, and then you run by it. But as you're leaving the cold storage, you also have to fight 2 of them at the same time, and then, there's a DIFFERENT kind of Regenator! One with spikes! Even with the Infared Scope, the Regenators are still creepy as hell. I also think they're the equivalent to the Lickers in RE4. And the spiky regenator, just when you think you're safe from the regenerators and you don't have to worry about their creepy breathing, and shuffling and shambling towards you anymore, here comes the spiky one, who's like their leader or something! As creepy as RE4 gets, that is seriously one of the scariest things ever. The game wasn't super scary throughout, but it had scares here and there, but the Regenerators, may very well be the scariest enemies in an RE game those creepy shambling abominations... It really isn't a good time, dude. But despite that, RE4 is still my favorite RE game, and Leon is still my favorite RE character.

      @@geovonnie69 Thanks for the reminder. I already knew that, but thanks anyways. If it's not obvious, RE2 and 4 are my favorite RE games, and Leon S. Kennedy is my favorite RE character, and I've played RE4 multiple times, but I don't always remember the names of every enemy. I did finally, recently go through RE4 on Professional Mode, and beat it, on the PS4, before sony became known for being a-holes. Sorry for the random long rambling, dude, but thanks again. If I ever play RE4 again, I'll try the Switch version. It's just so hard to find that version... and when I finally got the Switch, I couldn't find RE4 on the Switch. Sorry again. I just love RE2 and 4 alot more than any of the other RE games. Leon is just such an awesome character in both RE2 and 4. How he goes from rookie cop to hardened cop in one day, and has the worst first day a cop can ever face, but still come out of it being a badass in RE4, is amazing. Not to say that Claire doesn't do her best too, and how she saves and bonds with Sherry, the whole time, is heartwarming. Because I could relate to Sherry, because my parents were often at work too often to spend time with me. It was also so hard to choose between Claire and Leon to play as, when I was a kid, but i always went with Leon. Also, I accidentally misspelled Regenerators in my first comment, sorry about that too. Here's hoping the next time we see Leon, it's in a better game. Re6 wasn't as bad as people say, but it wasn't as good as it should've been. But Leon was still the best character in that game. I think the Iron Maidens are the scariest version of the Regenerator. The normal ones are scary enough, but the Iron Maiden variation are the same, but scarier. They mix all the things that make the Regenerators look and feel scary, and make them slightly more scary, but even though it's only a slight difference, but it's one hell of a difference that makes them scarier than just a plain old Regenerator, you know? But you don't see them as often as regular Regenerators, so maybe that's why most people don't see them as scarier? And that's fine. It's all opinion. Thanks again, and take care, dude.

      @shawnfields2369 3 года назад

      Agreed. Same here, dude, and yeah, both seeing and hearing Doctor Salvador rev up his chainsaw, also scared the shit out of me as a kid, playing RE4 for the first time back in 2005 on the GameCube, you don't necessarily HAVE to even deal with him, that one time if you don't get the Shotgun until AFTER you wait for the villagers to leave the area, after Ada rings the bell, causing the villagers to leave. Salvador only shows up if you decide to get the Shotgun first. If you sneak around, and keep out of sight, and DON'T get the Shotgun until after the villagers leave, then he doesn't appear. But you do have to fight him later in the game anyways, but getting the gun later saves ammo. But as scary as Doc Salvador is, I think there's at least a few more moments scarier than him and his chainsaw, no offense. The Verdugo boss fight in the sewer, shooting the lake and causing the Del Lago to appear, and the Regenators. But Salvador and his instakill chainsaw of death are a good choice, dude.

      @@Maz2bi Fair enough. It's ok, if your forgot the name of Doctor Salvador. Not an easy thing to remember whilst an insane man with a damn chainsaw is chasing you around, trying to kill you. Also, yeah, while the Iron Maiden(that's what the spiky Regenators are called, I forgot their name too), and while it's not as impactful as the first appearance of a Regenator, it works for me. Sure, you have the firepower to kill them, the Infared Scope, but that doesn't make them not any less scary. Especially on Hardcore mode. Now that's scary. Sure, they're not AS scary on later attempts, but you never forget how scary a Regenator/Iron Maiden's breathing is... or hearing Salvador revving up his chainsaw, and hearing his crazed laugh off somewhere, and realizing he's not that far away... also, there's the creepy cloaked dudes whispering. Also pretty creepy, and all from my deepest memories of playing RE4, and being scared shitless. Although the remakes of 1, and 2, are scarier than 4, as is the original RE3, but I think 4 does genuinely have it's scary moments. Not as many as the first 3, but it's still a great game overall, and an amazing experience of an RE game. Although the RE2 remake is now tied with RE4 as my favorite RE game. Even though I've played the original RE2 and 4. But, again, dude/lady. Fair enough. Thanks though.
