- Nikon Coolpix P1000 - camera with the largest zoom! Mega zoom test. The camera was placed 12.4 km from the building on the top of the mountain - Lomnica Peak (Lomnický štít).
This movie is a test of zoom and stabilization. I used the largest and smallest available optical magnification offered by the Nikon P1000 (focal length 24 - 3000mm) + digital zoom.
This camera is almost like a telescope!

Nagranie jest w 4k. P1000 pozwala na aktywną stabilizację w 4k. Dla pewności przed chwilą sprawdziłem.

Considering how big these cameras are I'm surprised you were able to do without a tripod. I'd be assuming that the camera would have some weight on it making it even more Difficult
The weight of this camera is approximately 1.4 kg. Apparently a lot, but for me such a weight plus the ergonomic shape of the camera makes it easy to use without a tripod :)

It kind of fun to use, to see objects…but the actual fotos aren’t very impressive at all, everything is very noisy and even here we see a very pixelated images and recordings if it’s zoomed.
And I don’t mean the vibrations, this is a separate topic.
I wished the camera offers a little bit more

If you see how you can zooming in ... calculate that when you zooming in on stars and moon then you don't get the big numbers what Nasa tolt you ...and you act it is the true but i think you know better why you do that? You are good in astronomy and numbers.. make your video's more sence when you calculate the true. Comen sence Tho..the true makes you free isn't that what you want to?
