    I installed the carbon version from RoadsItalia and is a great exhaust !!! I have removed the DB Killer, is not such loud as someone would expect and the sound is superb in all the revs. I highly recommend it

    Is there any way to increase the HP of the USA version of the Transalp?

    • @IdealBike
      @IdealBike  10 месяцев назад +1

      Normally it's the same engine, most likely it's electronically restricted / limited. It should work. But then you'll have to deal with the California State regulations

  • @josuejimenez2873

    No, you need to learn about the difference between crankshaft hp and rear wheel hp. You can be sure these accessory exhaust manufacturers aren’t using USA spec bikes to homologate Euro5 compliance 😂.

  • @chicknest
    @chicknest 10 месяцев назад +3

    Looks like the accessories themselves would cost about half of the bike price, wouldn’t it?

    • @IdealBike
      @IdealBike  10 месяцев назад +2

      Let's calculate, depending on what will you choose. Skidplate 275 eur, Crash Bar 250 EUR, Quickshifter 800 EUR, Engine Guard 250 EUR, 12V socket 20 EUR, (Accessories from Hepco-becker). Handguards Barkbusters 200 EUR, Acerbis are 175 EUR. Exhaust.... From 400 up to 1000 EUR 😂. If you choose OEM accessories you kind of double it. Sky it's the limit 😂

    I would like to know which one is the quietest... adding fractions of horsepower in this case is a bit pointless...

    • @IdealBike
      @IdealBike  3 месяца назад +4

      They all have no more than 90 dB with DB Killer on, more or less the same. The quietest is the standard 😂

    I don't like the two positions, they are both very horizontal, one quite low, the other one too high. To me the ideal exhaust position is almost vertical at around 45deg. angle.

    • @IdealBike
      @IdealBike  Месяц назад +1

      What exhaust are you referring to?

    • @BonuxCouleur
      @BonuxCouleur Месяц назад +1

      @@IdealBike Any exhaust really. The only one shown at a correct angle is that funny looking trumpet one. This to me would be the correct angle of any exhaust which I am sure you could obtain with any of the mufflers you have shown, you just have to weld your own pipes.

    • @IdealBike
      @IdealBike  Месяц назад +1

      @BonuxCouleur My choice is Hp Corse, check out the Unboxing, install and test videos. For me, it's the perfect choice. Greetings

    • @BonuxCouleur
      @BonuxCouleur Месяц назад +1

      @@IdealBike I would probably have the SC Project Rally Raid or Rally X GT with a custom made line that would allow a more vertical angle of the muffler. You could improve the floor clearance of the Transalp greatly by diverting the exhaust line instead of having it run under the engine block. I wish Honda would release a proper off road version of the Transalp.
