The comedic timing on this show was impeccable. Even when you know when the joke is being set up, the delivery is always flawless and worth it. 🤣🤣🤣

Actually, the best story arc of this episode is Niles’ gambling obsession. I completely lose it when Fran tries to retrieve his wallet from his pants while he’s sleeping and dreaming, “Ooh, I’m getting lucky!”
That joke went over my head as a child, I thought he was dreaming about gambling

Naturally I'm nostalgic for my past because I yearn for what for me was a simpler time, when things made a little more sense, when things weren't crazy - or, at the very least, not *as* crazy - like what's going on today.

Like, it would be "cringey" in real life, not within the context of this being a show. (Like how a lot of people find the Office UK to be "cringey" because of the awkwardness of the situations)

Plus, It's not an intellectual kind of comedy, you're supposed to cringe. It's an intentional artistic move, so people can enjoy the show, even if not in love with the characters. Then, instead of getting emotionally invested, they can feel embarrassment for a childlike behavior of a serious man, and whole-hearted ignorance of Fran.
This was a great episode for physical comedy. You should upload the scene where Fran tries to take Niles’ wallet!
