FYI - I’m new to this family as well. I accidentally came across Jeffree’s channel, then Shane, now Ry. I’m probably the most opposite of all of three of them (I’m 55, recently in disabled & in a wheelchair, haven’t worn makeup since my disability cause I feel *ugly*). But, they all make me smile & I need that so bad right now. I’ve even gone so far as to try a Crunchwrap from Taco Bell and contemplated spending $$ on expensive makeup that I don’t know how to put on).

I usually watch Shanes videos and love them. I just saw the first Rylan's Adams video (this one) today. He strikes me as a very genuine person. I was very pleasantly surprised on how he calmly reacts to judgemental comments he recieves, along with positive ones. He just simply responds and gives his point of view, or the way he sees things, without getting all upset over the
negative comments. He sees past it seems, the rude, nitpicky, immature responses, to answer comments and questions honestly, some very personal. He seems to actually care about other people's questions. One of the nicer comments was complaining about his eyebrows. Who really cares how his eyebrows are, and does it really matter? Is it really anyone's business? Is this all they see?
It hurts to hear that so many of Shane's fans think so poorly of Ryland. Shane and Ryland appear (and I only say appear because they're choosing to show us what they want to show us with their relationship and there is NOTHING wrong with that) to be very happy. Let your faves be happy without attacking their significant others please and thank you.

I just found some of those comments really quite offensive, considering that Ryland and Shane are together and have been for some time. They live together and if Ryland is doing vlogs, of course Shane is going to be in them, they live together, they are talking about having children etc.
I don’t mean this to be insulting or to generalise, but I feel that a lot of these assumptions are made by much younger viewers or fans, who maybe don’t understand what it is like to be in a very committed relationship, living together, planning your future together. Your lives become so entwined together and because they are both RUclipsrs, it’s only natural that they would help each other out with videos.
Ugh, these comments or assumptions just riled me up a bit. I usually watch Shane more than Ryland, but only because I enjoy the conspiracy theories etc. but after this video, I think I’m going to start watching Ryland more as well.
Oh yeah, no. I mean I haven't been a fan of Shane's for a long period of time (I used to casually watch him my freshman year of high school, but I got more into his content last year), so I don't know exactly how long they've been together. What I do know is that Shane and Ryland are happy. I mean, they don't seem like that kind of couple where they'll fake continuing to be together in the event that they (god-forbid) split. I agree, I do feel like most of the people who sent in comments like that are probably younger people like you said, or they are those crazy fans who hate Ryland just cause that means that they themselves can't be with Shane (which I mean given the age gap wouldn't even be plausible anyways) or because then Shane can't be with whoever they feel he should be with. She is whole and complete now, and has really soared ever since. Your mom will love and accept you regardless (even if you don’t think she will) just allow her the time to process her thoughts, and what it means to her and she will come to the place of ITS YOUR LIFE, and she just wants you happy and healthy.

I know he said he buys his own stuff with his own money but even if he did use Shane's money, what's wrong with that? They're in a super serious relationship, they BOUGHT A HOUSE together, they're planning their futur together, etc. If Ryland was a woman, nobody would think twice about him spending his partner's money. + Shane is a big boy, I don't think he would let someone "take advantage" of him. Ryland is honestly so sweet and underrated! His part about people saying he’s jealous of Shane’s success was so accurate and “wise”. Honestly they’re the best for each other and I don’t think Shane would be the person he is today without Ryland (and vice versa!)
I don't understand why people hate on Ryland. I absolutely live for his and Shane's relationship and I think (not that it matters) that they are great for each other.
