Thank you for sharing. I once was kayaking by the 404 bridge after dark for fishing, and I saw a GLOWING MANATEE gently swimming under my kayak. Later when I watch LIFE of PI, and I know that scene is real not Hollywood effect. This is once in a life time thing that I will remember forever.
Colgate irônico you do know this is actually real? The microorganisms that make the water glow are known as dinoflagellates. When the water is disturbed, they glow and are basically alerting others to do the same.
My hubby and I went on this tour last year for my birthday, it was very dark and it was scary at first but the guides made me feel safe. They seem to know what they’re doing. And no we did not see any alligators but did see raccoons which was to be expected. We did not get to see the bioluminescence unfortunately but we are going to try again this year 😊
unfortunately the kayaks are only made for up to 2 people, not 5. the guides do need to remain in their own kayak for safety reasons so each group of 2 (or single) will need to paddle themselves.
We've never seen a shark out here. We do have some gators but this is typical for almost every florida waterway. Our guides are equipped with bright headlamps to ensure they give the wildlife appropriate distance and we've never once had a bad encounter in our 5 years of operation with over 80,000 guests!
We went on this trip last summer with the whole family and had a great time! There were 12 of us ranging in age from 7 to 77 years of age.
Thanks for coming out to paddle with us!! We hope to see you all again soon :)

Is it possible for a Group of 5 to be in same boat? And do we paddle ourselves or can someone assist?
