The man is a legend. What a great story teller I could listen to him talk forever. I remember seeing the final scene at the midnight show and both me and my friend going eeeewwwwww and laughing at the same time. I have been hooked on John Waters since Pink Flamingos.
    Thanks for the upload

John Waters did what Bill Watterson illustrated in "Calvin and Hobbes" with the toy cars. Except not in a sandbox.

Yeah, he's one of the greats -- superb literary critic too, turned me on to Denton Welch and Jane Bowles.

I had the opportunity to see John Waters live. He is a very lively and engaging speaker. Even if the stories are nothing new to those who have read his books or listened to audio commentaries for his films his enthusiasm for shocking people is very infectious. The one question he sounded weary of answering is, Yes, Divine is really dead. Yes, he did really eat dog 💩. I was too timid to ask a question during the Q & A segment of the show. He was appearing a day later at a video store. I regret not going anc getting Shock Treatment or his other book (the title momentarily slips my mind) signed by him. That same night the Kids in the Hall were appearing at another venue and my brother and I haf to decide which to see. I think that we made the right decision. I wish he'd make another film. A Dirty Shame is not a film to end career on. I think it's his worst film.

Yes John Waters is marvelous but he owes a lot to Divine yes yes divine she'll make you laugh so hard that it will hurt that's how she took her acting seriously and her last the movie was awesome which was the last movie was Hairspray she brung the house down so I also love John Waters because he is a blessing for those kind of movies.rest in peace Devine.🕯👍
