I think the best thing was the small bag that you carry and surely that bag carries almost $10000 😏 Apart from that shots were amazing and I like the video color grading

How seriously do you consider leaving some stuff at home? A lens, perhaps? Or do you find it easier to take them all then think about what you'd need on a particular day?
Hmmm I don’t take all my lenses. But! When I am hesitant about one, I definitely bring it. Cause there is nothing more annoying, then standing there, and missing a lens 😂

Thanks for sharing what's in your bag. I'm not a Canon shooter (I might add it as a second system) but I'm curious how the autofocus is with adapted lenses. I'm sure not as fast as the RF lenses, but is it usable?
its as good as native ef lenses. canon has done a really great job at making their adapters

Hmm most of the time I leave my basics in my bag. Like most used lenses and the body. But lenses I don’t use that often, I take out🙌

Hey Faye, what SD do you using on your eos r6 for recording the videos? I use r6 as well, but it’s automatically stopping recording after just few minutes like 2-4 minutes and getting overheated.
Hey! I use the SanDisk 125 gb SD’s.
And that’s annoying! I haven’t experienced that before. It’s probably your SD like you said. I would recommend the SD’s I have now :)
Sounds like an issue with your electronics/sensor if it’s overheating after a few minutes.

the 85 f2 is slow at focusing because it's an STM, not USM. Not because it's a macro lens. The RF 100mm is insanely fast at focusing, as are all RF L lenses. :)

Hahaha it does hurt, but I don’t walk around with my bag a lot. At least I can bring all the gear I want hahah, I gotta cop it 🫡

What camera do you recommend to do videos or filmmaking. The Sony A7RV or the Sony fx30?
She’s a canon user.
If you know for sure you are going to be shooting mostly video and rarely doing any photography then the FX30 would be the better option. If you are going to be doing a lot of video work but also shooting some photos then you may want the A7IV or A7Siii
Im going from a big bag to a smaller bag. Trying to bring out less equipment and see how I can maximize usage and creativity with different setups.
Very good idea! That’s how you learn your lenses better as well. I definitely don’t bring all my gear to my shoots. But now that I’m travelling it’s nice that everything fits in one bag. So I can keep it safe with me as my hand luggage ✈️

When I fly I have 7kg limit. That's my laptop, r6, and 2 lenses 💀💀
Hahaha they have never weighed my bag… I use it as handluggage. Bag is probably about 15 kg’s but they never checked 😂😂

That new bag is half your size 😅. I think it's useful when you carry the whole gear. But when you go out or have a job it's ideal to have a lightweight small bag. Carrying too much gear hurts u're back and it's becoming overwhelming rather than having fun. Saying from experience 🤦😅 Anyway thanks for sharing. I appreciate you a female photographer inspire others to be creative.. 👏✌️
