Thank you father for that message. I try to give my Lord all that is put upon me. Like Jesus said do not worry what to eat or what to wear don’t worry give it to him. Everything is in Gods Hands. I offer up my prayers and ask him for strength I need it because I have somethings to deal with. I want not to be upset about things that are not that important I take little steps to figure things out and it works. My Lord is everything to me I talk to him and let him know I appreciate his kindness his love to me that’s offered everyday I thank him for my food my little dog , my house the air I breath. Thanks for this video I will definitely try this spiritual exercise and offer up my sufferings as I don't tend to do this but feel defeated a lot of the time, and hopeless sometimes and quite negative. Also the fasting and prayer, definitely will be doing this, the world is in turmoil and we have to turn to God.

Good morning Fr Thady and thank you most sincerely for this very helpful talk on offering up everything we can to Jesus. I am finding that in trying to do that I am able to handle my everyday struggles much easier. I'm now retired of course so I don't have the kind of heavy responsibilities or trials that you would have but when I remember that I don't have to face things alone it feels as if Jesus is actually taking hold of whatever is weighing me down and allowing me to feel the difference His greater strength makes. It's kind of like when I used to carry heavy books and files as a teacher and one of my brothers would meet me and reach for some of the stuff to give me a hand. I feel Jesus very close to me and I thank God for that great gift. I won't be fasting from meat or eating out or things that mean nothing to me anyway but I'll fast from letting rip when things go wrong and eat bread without our delicious Irish butter and leave the milk out of the many cups of tea I drink every day. I'll try to say a full rosary every day and read my prayer books and bible and will treat myself and those I love to some good things to read from your work. Thank you for this channel and all that you do for people like me. I will keep praying for you and everyone in your circle there at God's cottage. Love vera in Northern Ireland.

Thank you so much for this valuable reminder, Fr Thady. Why is it such a hard habit to overcome, the habit of cursing our trials? I do it all the time and then kick myself for not remembering to simply calmly offer it up, thinking of all the lost opportunities to possibly free a soul from purgatory or to help stop atrocities and such.
1 Peter 1:7 so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; We are being refined by fire. Every precious stone and metal is always put under pressure by fire so that the imperfections are knocked off and under those imperfections are beautiful stones of value. Keep working on those imperfections so that your true value shines through.

Thanks for this video I will definitely try this spiritual exercise and offer up my sufferings as I don't tend to do this but feel defeated a lot of the time, and hopeless sometimes and quite negative. Also the fasting and prayer, definitely will be doing this, the world is in turmoil and we have to turn to God.

Good morning Fr Thady and thank you most sincerely for this very helpful talk on offering up everything we can to Jesus. I am finding that in trying to do that I am able to handle my everyday struggles much easier. I'm now retired of course so I don't have the kind of heavy responsibilities or trials that you would have but when I remember that I don't have to face things alone it feels as if Jesus is actually taking hold of whatever is weighing me down and allowing me to feel the difference His greater strength makes. It's kind of like when I used to carry heavy books and files as a teacher and one of my brothers would meet me and reach for some of the stuff to give me a hand. I feel Jesus very close to me and I thank God for that great gift. I won't be fasting from meat or eating out or things that mean nothing to me anyway but I'll fast from letting rip when things go wrong and eat bread without our delicious Irish butter and leave the milk out of the many cups of tea I drink every day. I'll try to say a full rosary every day and read my prayer books and bible and will treat myself and those I love to some good things to read from your work. Thank you for this channel and all that you do for people like me. I will keep praying for you and everyone in your circle there at God's cottage. Love vera in Northern Ireland.

Dear Father, Thank you for sharing the great value of offering up our sufferings to our Lord. This practice has been a part of my spiritual life for 45 years. The suffering has been on all levels of being. Offering the suffering has been my lifetime mission. It does transform everything. My parents were very devoted to the mission of Fatima. So, I learned the value of suffering from the small childhood. The blessing of God has been with me all my life as a result of this lifetime practice. Thanks be to God for the blessings that can come by surrendering our suffering. So it was very joyful to me to hear your video today. I have been feeling very discouraged lately. And, feel tired from the long suffering. But, your message gave me some strength to continue on the Name of Jesus for the conversion of sinners. God bless you, Father. Please, pray for me.

Hi Father. I recently started reading the apparitions of Lourdes again. And your also right about Russia. Our God is a God of Love and not from war . We in Europe have faced the same evil in the previous century, from 1940 to 1945. My parents and grand parents have going through that hell. Thank you so much for this valuable reminder, Fr Thady. Why is it such a hard habit to overcome, the habit of cursing our trials? I do it all the time and then kick myself for not remembering to simply calmly offer it up, thinking of all the lost opportunities to possibly free a soul from purgatory or to help stop atrocities and such.
Same here, I’m ashamed how many times a day I curse trivial mishaps. I’m thankful that this message was brought before me.

We are being refined by fire. Every precious stone and metal is always put under pressure by fire so that the imperfections are knocked off and under those imperfections are beautiful stones of value.
Keep working on those imperfections so that your true value shines through.
Keep reminding yourself that God works all things for the good for those who love Him.

Every time I offer my sufferings (physical or psychological) to God, the feeling of suffering diminishes and the suffering becomes bearable. Thanks to Almighty God for this experience which I have been living for more than 20 years.
