When my dad was diagnosed with inoperable cancer he was told that it was just a matter of week, months, maybe a year at most. I gave him a green scapular that he agreed to keep in his billfold. My dad then lived another 28 years, strong and vibrant and playing in musical ensembles. He died at 93 years and I was able to pray with him moments before his death. Thank you Father for promoting this devotion to Our Lady. Incidentally, I attach my single green scapular to my ordinary brown one and easily wear both then.

With justice, trustworthiness, rejoicing in the welfare of others, and giving away self for service to others. This is the task of a priest. The green scapular is a reminder. We can shoo these reminders away. They are visible ones. The Holy spirit speaks invisibly within us, and we can shoo that away or cooperate with it--not once for all but step by step. So, yes, the vocation God gave was a miracle to that priest. Unfortunately, the church didn't do him justice in preparing him and understanding his evil tendencies regarding child abuse. If so, he might have been stopped from being a parish priest and served in some other capacity as a priest like as a contemplative in a monastery IN RECOVERY FIRST. Should God have not given him a gift? Our freedom is our freedom. God gave Judas all that he gave the other disciples. But Judas chose to kill God. So, Mick, you make an excellent point. What are any of us doing to make our world better and weed out dangerous people? I know that this answer may not bring solace. but the twelve steps for addicts is tough, and so is our dealing with our own wills and evil tendencies. We need God's help. We need each other's. Thank you for doing this talk I was never taught about scapulars I found out while watching Bible studies and church services on RUclips you are the third priest that has talked about the green scapula! I purchased a bundle of 12 had them blessed by my priest who looked at me very confused when I asked him to bless them! He couldn't understand why I had so many. I thought to myself this is my way of spreading mother Mary's message to my children my family and my friends and now my neighbors. The more programs that I can direct them to to help them understand the blessings behind the Green scapula is to honor our Lord. My children like most have wandered away from the church they accepted the green scapula I've been praying and placing the green scapula's behind their pictures they live in a different state one day both daughters asked me to mail them the green scapula's! God works in many ways, like I've always said symbols are outward signs of inward feelings and beliefs! If they strengthened my relationship with God and he heals me out of gratitude then I am pleased and I will continue to help others who feel lost turn to mother Mary and the green scapula. 🙏❤️

I am enrolled in the Sisters of Carmel Brown Scapula Society and I wear the brown scapula constantly . A devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. A silent prayer of veneration, love and trust. I pray the Rosary everyday for over two years , it has helped me to remain sober. Sobriety is a gift from the lord. You fast on Wednesday and Friday’s and pray the Little office of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is a wonderful devotion and will greatly assist one in one’s prayer life and if done piously many vices can be overcome.
I too have enrolled in the brown scapular and have a blessed green scapular as well. I’ve ordered a purple one too. My problem is that I have difficulty understanding how the Little Office Prayers work. When I try to say them I feel it is very disjointed and I’m constantly going back and forward in the pages, trying to make sense of the order of it all. Is it just me?
Please pray for my son who suffers mental illness and for charity and compassion for my family members who are affected by he's illness.. been hard for us all. We have been trying to find peace and unity with his siblings that have to deal with mood swings, delusions etc
I also would ask for prayers for my adult married daughter who has suffered from mental illness which affects the relationship with her husband and in-laws in very negative ways as she and her family live with her husband's family. His family has gone to great lengths to obtain the Medical help,she needs, but are quite frustrated after years of dealing with her illness that nothing seems to help her, therapy, medicine, and love. Her husband is now threatening divorce after seven years of marriage. I live in Italy and am home bound as I cannot walk very stable. She lives in the United States, so all I can do is talk to her almost every day encouraging her, as well as lifting her up in prayer especially asking for intersession through the immaculate Heart of Mary. Any time I Mention praying, she shys away from the thought. So I pray that even though I am home bound and that I can't get a green scapular to her that God will find a way. Thank you for holding Meghan up in your prayers as I will pray for your son.

I have put a green scapular in my grandsons room and I placed one by my mother’s bedside as she was dying of covid pneumonia. Praise the Lord that she was able to get the last rites. She was very agitated, then went to sleep for a short time after receiving the last rites and she died very shortly afterwards. I also managed to pray the Divine Mercy for her by her bedside. I gave quite a few away and now I can’t find my own so I need to get some more.

When my mom was dying I was searching for a brown scapular but I only found a green one. I put it around her hands as she was dying because I couldn’t lift her head due to all the oxygen tubes. She passed after the priest came in and we prayed

I just “discovered” the green scapular I got one and had it blessed. I have attached it to the Rosary at the crucifix where I also have the miraculous medal. As I recite my Rosary daily I say the short prayer to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I get to feel so peaceful. Blessed Mother intercede for us.
I really enjoyed this, I have always loved the Green Scapular, and I enjoyed learning more about it through this video. I feel I'm being guided to connect with it more and maybe buy some to give to people, as well as use it for myself. As Father said, it is a great gift from God. I don't recommend 1,000 - at least not all at once. I believe that it is important that there be some real connection or interaction between the giver and the person receiving the Green Scapular which would be impossible if they were just handed out in bulk - unless a major event after an uplifting talk on their meaning.
I first came across Father Thaddeus in a little book i bought from r local holy shop. Its called Lord i am desperate. This priest is amazing love to listen to him.
I am not Catholic but evangelical Protestant. I respect that fact that your intentions are good and that you believe you are doing right even if that’s not what I believe. We are all the “Church” regardless of if we are Catholic or Protestant. We have far more in common than not and I consider Catholics my brothers and sisters in Christ. I just wish we can all respect there are some differences. The main thing is we believe in the life burial and resurrection of Jesus.

Her husband is now threatening divorce after seven years of marriage. I live in Italy and am home bound as I cannot walk very stable. She lives in the United States, so all I can do is talk to her almost every day encouraging her, as well as lifting her up in prayer especially asking for intersession through the immaculate Heart of Mary. Any time I Mention praying, she shys away from the thought. So I pray that even though I am home bound and that I can't get a green scapular to her that God will find a way. Thank you for holding Meghan up in your prayers as I will pray for your son.

I have put a green scapular in my grandsons room and I placed one by my mother’s bedside as she was dying of covid pneumonia. Praise the Lord that she was able to get the last rites. She was very agitated, then went to sleep for a short time after receiving the last rites and she died very shortly afterwards. I also managed to pray the Divine Mercy for her by her bedside. I gave quite a few away and now I can’t find my own so I need to get some more.

When my mom was dying I was searching for a brown scapular but I only found a green one. I put it around her hands as she was dying because I couldn’t lift her head due to all the oxygen tubes. She passed after the priest came in and we prayed

I just “discovered” the green scapular I got one and had it blessed. I have attached it to the Rosary at the crucifix where I also have the miraculous medal. As I recite my Rosary daily I say the short prayer to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I get to feel so peaceful. Blessed Mother intercede for us.

I really enjoyed this, I have always loved the Green Scapular, and I enjoyed learning more about it through this video. Father I suffer from terrible anxiety. I wear my Green Scapular and Miraculous Metal and am so grateful for them. CAN YOU PLEASE PRAY FOR ME AND ASK OUR BLESSED MOTHER TO TAKE THIS DIFFICULT AFFLICTION FROM ME. I have had it for 47 years and it is so debilitating. Definitely attending charismatic events, as some people have the charism of healing; eg; visiting Eddie Stones of Emmanuel House, or Noel Byrne, or Joe Dalton, (there are a number of charismatics in Ireland with the charism of healing). Try a pilgrimage to Medjugorje sometime. Our Lady does miracles there too :)
Pray the Green Scapular prayer daily (its written on the scapular). Is your scapular blessed by a priest? Also; a new private revelation that has proven powerful for depression; is to repeat this prayer around your entire rosary beads 10 times a day; ‘Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, save us and the whole world.’ It was given to a seer named Barnabas in Nigeria in the 1990s, has an imprimatur from his bishop, has complete approval from a bishops conference there, and the seer is now a priest over there, named Fr Barnabas. (Maybe Fr Thady can do a video on the Precious Blood chaplet revealed to Barnabas in Nigeria 😁😁😁😁). This prayer also works, powerful for depression. If you can go to adoration 30mins to 1 hr (each day) if possible, Jesus personally bestows a peace not of this world during adoration and ‘unburdens/ gives rest’ to souls who adore Him this way

I don't recommend 1,000 - at least not all at once. I believe that it is important that there be some real connection or interaction between the giver and the person receiving the Green Scapular which would be impossible if they were just handed out in bulk - unless a major event after an uplifting talk on their meaning.
I first came across Father Thaddeus in a little book i bought from r local holy shop. Its called Lord i am desperate. This priest is amazing love to listen to him.

I am not Catholic but evangelical Protestant. I respect that fact that your intentions are good and that you believe you are doing right even if that’s not what I believe. We are all the “Church” regardless of if we are Catholic or Protestant. We have far more in common than not and I consider Catholics my brothers and sisters in Christ. I just wish we can all respect there are some differences. The main thing is we believe in the life burial and resurrection of Jesus.
