Thank you Father! Your sermons speak to my soul. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 I took care of my mother in her final days. She was a lapsed Catholic. She never took us to church. She never practiced the faith, although she always believed in God. She believed in God’s love and mercy. My mother had brain cancer and bleeding on her brain that affected her speech/ language. She spoke in gibberish. No one could understand her. Three days before she died, she began frantically asking for my help. She kept calling for me to help her. She suddenly spoke very clearly. She told me that demons were surrounding her. She looked terrified and screamed that they were in her room. She told me that demons were cursing at her and trying to take her to hell. She started praying the Our Father and Hail Mary as clear as day. She was praying fervently. I was shocked that she could form words, let alone pray. I was shocked to hear the prayers that I had never heard her pray before. I was a practicing Catholic. My mother never criticized me for coming to the faith as an adult. She always said she was happy for me. I prayed the rosary and the divine mercy at her bedside. The hospice nurse said that my mother was in turmoil, lingering in this world. She advised me to call a priest. He came right over and said prayers over my mother etc. My mother became peaceful. She died soon after his visit. I will never forget hearing my mother go from speaking gibberish to reciting Catholic prayers. I believe that my mother returned to the Catholic faith before she died.
Your mother's before death experience was very similar to Dr. Howard Storm's near death experience, and also to the vision St Faustina had of a dying sinner being surrounded by evil spirits, and then driven away as St Faustina offered the chaplet of Mercy for the sinner. St. Faustina spoke about the mercy of God at the hour of death - it is beautiful. St. John Henry Newman spoke about the 'hour of death' in his amazing poem, 'the dream of gerontius' - sounds word for word real life experience sitting with my parents as they passed. Every time we say a 'Hail Mary' we ask our Blessed Mother to be with us at this moment.... I don't really know anybody, other than on the internet who has the story about crossing the veil...but I'm sure amid many there are the few. I take great comfort in some, and am terrified or dubious of others. I remember walking through Mt. Jerome cemetary and coming across a message in stone written on a grave.....I've never seen it again and can't remember where it was, but I remember thinking...wow! It read, 'Please kneel and say a Hail Mary for me' - which I duly did... I thought it was probably the best epitaph I've seen. :-)

I had one where I was in Heaven sitting on grass in a circle with loved ones and each person was conveying pure love towards each other. It was pulsing palpable waves of love passing to each other and when I woke up I could still feel the joy of it flowing through me. I didn’t see God or Jesus in my dream but wonder if all that Love was the Holy Spirit.
Thank you SO MUCH for your video! Spent many, years in a diocese in NYS where the bishop was getting rid of all priests that followed Pope John Paul II! Some of those priests who received a letter from the bishop "kicking them out of the diocese" became good friends of mine. It was ONLY through the intercession of The Blessed Mother that I was able to find the truth and become friends with these holy priests. It would be impossible for me to put into words just how confused I became. Eventually I just fell away from the true practice of the FAITH but didn't even realize it! Eventually, and in desperation, I begged Mother Mary to show me the TRUTH! Almost immediately She began to do just that! I will be in Her debt for all eternity! The one gentleman, a humble and sweet man, like a very positive experience. Thete were children laughing in the background, , and the flowers were humming. They were square! He saw gates in the distance. He knew what that led to but he got called back. The other man died seven times. He was one of those scrappy types whose heart would go out. Each time he was let alone a crystal path with angels on either side of him. I have many, many experiences as a hospice nurse. I have sometimes thought of writing a book about it. It is fascinating. All my colleagues have stories. One thing I can tell you father, as you were correct. One must be in a state of repentance and humility, if they want a good experience.
Sissy Brooks I took the advice of a hospice nurse as my mother was dying. I believe it helped her soul. I read books that hospice nurses recommended too. One book was a collection of essays written by hospice nurses. Eye opening and important. This was many years ago but I remember feeling amazed and educated by their stories.
Many years ago I was asking the Lord which of a number of illustrious priests I was to ask to be my Confessor. When eventually I heard what the Lord was saying, it was "pick a good holy priest". The Lord also showed me that, for me, the important thing was not what the confessor would say to me, but that I would be able to be totally honest with him
I can't get a good confession here,a young friend of mine (18yrs) has been told not to worry because you can't sin in your thoughts anyway.Iv been told that I must not speak in terms of having a spiritual battle also don't worry about not going to confession it's ok as long as you keep going to communion.When the parishioners begin to know more about a proper confession than the Priest that's when I'm concerned .When you are watching a priest weighing up a women from head to foot I wouldn't trust that I could get a good confession there either.Fr Thady is someone I would trust not to send me up the wrong path and that he would steer me in the right direction.working with what you have got means that I trust who I have listened to for a while now he's not frightened to speak out and I instinctively feel safe in his hands.But I will check out these sites .that you have given me anyway , many thks

I have explained it in greater detail in my book, "I want to go to Heaven the moment I die". Basically we are composed of body, soul and spirit, (even though the body soul concept was later taken over from Greek philosophy). It is our spirit that will live forever, and in its resurrected body it resembles what we now look like. Our soul are those elements within us, mind and heart etc, that enables our spirit to live in union with the body. Understanding this is also important for Christian healing, as there are many illnesses of the soul that impact on both spirit and body. See my book "Christian healing for you and your family"

We are all sinners and we all need a savior and the Lord Jesus is the savior of the entire world. Jesus is the lamb of God who took away the sins of the entire world. This priest appears to be a very sincere man, but unfortunately you can be very sincerely wrong. The Bible teaches that the righteous do not go to heaven at death, but at the Second Coming of Jesus. If the righteous went to heaven at death, that would mean that the wicked from the time of Adam would have gone to hell (according to the belief of those who believe in a literal eternal hell) and so would he suffering thousands of years more than the wicked that die in current times. We have to give God credit for being a loving and fair God. It is more comforting to know that our loved ones are resting in death (sleep) until our loving Saviour comes again. That's what the Bible teaches.

Have tried to warn a close family member but it seems futile, if anything they seem to dig in further and be put off by my warnings, as I am trying to build up a dialogue with them and find some common ground, but at the same time have had to bite my tongue and put up with them leading a lifestyle opposed to God, bad behaviour etc, |If I challenge it I am ignored and they are not open or responsive to me, if anything they close up and it affects the relationship I am trying to build with them. I just try to carry on going to mass and trying to be positive around them rather than it seems negative warning them of hell and consequences of living in sin, not going to church, confession etc. It feels a negative thing to do and I feel uncomfortable when I go down that road.

WHY can't you read and simply understand the good news of the gospel? Come out of religion... She started praying the Our Father and Hail Mary as clear as day. She was praying fervently. I was shocked that she could form words, let alone pray. I was shocked to hear the prayers that I had never heard her pray before. I was a practicing Catholic. My mother never criticized me for coming to the faith as an adult. She always said she was happy for me. I prayed the rosary and the divine mercy at her bedside. The hospice nurse said that my mother was in turmoil, lingering in this world. She advised me to call a priest. He came right over and said prayers over my mother etc. My mother became peaceful. She died soon after his visit. I will never forget hearing my mother go from speaking gibberish to reciting Catholic prayers. I believe that my mother returned to the Catholic faith before she died.
Unfortunately, Dear Jill, I have cross the path of, oh, so many 'Lapset Catholicks', in my life.

Your mother's before death experience was very similar to Dr. Howard Storm's near death experience, and also to the vision St Faustina had of a dying sinner being surrounded by evil spirits, and then driven away as St Faustina offered the chaplet of Mercy for the sinner. St. Faustina spoke about the mercy of God at the hour of death - it is beautiful.
St. John Henry Newman spoke about the 'hour of death' in his amazing poem, 'the dream of gerontius' - sounds word for word real life experience sitting with my parents as they passed.
Every time we say a 'Hail Mary' we ask our Blessed Mother to be with us at this moment....
I don't really know anybody, other than on the internet who has the story about crossing the veil...but I'm sure amid many there are the few.
I take great comfort in some, and am terrified or dubious of others.
I remember walking through Mt. Jerome cemetary and coming across a message in stone written on a grave.....I've never seen it again and can't remember where it was, but I remember thinking...wow! It read, 'Please kneel and say a Hail Mary for me' - which I duly did...
I thought it was probably the best epitaph I've seen. :-)

I had one where I was in Heaven sitting on grass in a circle with loved ones and each person was conveying pure love towards each other. It was pulsing palpable waves of love passing to each other and when I woke up I could still feel the joy of it flowing through me. I didn’t see God or Jesus in my dream but wonder if all that Love was the Holy Spirit.

Thank you SO MUCH for your video! Spent many, years in a diocese in NYS where the bishop was getting rid of all priests that followed Pope John Paul II! Some of those priests who received a letter from the bishop "kicking them out of the diocese" became good friends of mine. It was ONLY through the intercession of The Blessed Mother that I was able to find the truth and become friends with these holy priests.
It would be impossible for me to put into words just how confused I became. Eventually I just fell away from the true practice of the FAITH but didn't even realize it!
Eventually, and in desperation, I begged Mother Mary to show me the TRUTH! Almost immediately She began to do just that! I will be in Her debt for all eternity!

The one gentleman, a humble and sweet man, like a very positive experience. Thete were children laughing in the background, , and the flowers were humming. They were square! He saw gates in the distance. He knew what that led to but he got called back.
The other man died seven times. He was one of those scrappy types whose heart would go out. Each time he was let alone a crystal path with angels on either side of him.
I have many, many experiences as a hospice nurse. I have sometimes thought of writing a book about it. It is fascinating. All my colleagues have stories.
One thing I can tell you father, as you were correct. One must be in a state of repentance and humility, if they want a good experience.
Sissy Brooks I took the advice of a hospice nurse as my mother was dying. I believe it helped her soul. I read books that hospice nurses recommended too. One book was a collection of essays written by hospice nurses. Eye opening and important. This was many years ago but I remember feeling amazed and educated by their stories.

Many years ago I was asking the Lord which of a number of illustrious priests I was to ask to be my Confessor. When eventually I heard what the Lord was saying, it was "pick a good holy priest". The Lord also showed me that, for me, the important thing was not what the confessor would say to me, but that I would be able to be totally honest with him
I can't get a good confession here,a young friend of mine (18yrs) has been told not to worry because you can't sin in your thoughts anyway.Iv been told that I must not speak in terms of having a spiritual battle also don't worry about not going to confession it's ok as long as you keep going to communion.When the parishioners begin to know more about a proper confession than the Priest that's when I'm concerned .When you are watching a priest weighing up a women from head to foot I wouldn't trust that I could get a good confession there either.Fr Thady is someone I would trust not to send me up the wrong path and that he would steer me in the right direction.working with what you have got means that I trust who I have listened to for a while now he's not frightened to speak out and I instinctively feel safe in his hands.But I will check out these sites .that you have given me anyway , many thks

I have explained it in greater detail in my book, "I want to go to Heaven the moment I die". Basically we are composed of body, soul and spirit, (even though the body soul concept was later taken over from Greek philosophy). It is our spirit that will live forever, and in its resurrected body it resembles what we now look like. Our soul are those elements within us, mind and heart etc, that enables our spirit to live in union with the body. Understanding this is also important for Christian healing, as there are many illnesses of the soul that impact on both spirit and body. See my book "Christian healing for you and your family"
What about Purgatory, Father? Surely most of us, even 'good Catholics', will have to 'do time' there?
Not if you walk with the Lord. Ending in Purgatory is not God's will, even though many will be lucky to end up there given their failure to love God.
But don't we have to wait until Jesus's second coming?

If someone isn't brought up in Christianity, then words like faith, grace or redemption can seem like a foreign language without the intrinsic understanding that Catholics have of them.

We are all sinners and we all need a savior and the Lord Jesus is the savior of the entire world. Jesus is the lamb of God who took away the sins of the entire world. This priest appears to be a very sincere man, but unfortunately you can be very sincerely wrong. The Bible teaches that the righteous do not go to heaven at death, but at the Second Coming of Jesus. If the righteous went to heaven at death, that would mean that the wicked from the time of Adam would have gone to hell (according to the belief of those who believe in a literal eternal hell) and so would he suffering thousands of years more than the wicked that die in current times. We have to give God credit for being a loving and fair God. It is more comforting to know that our loved ones are resting in death (sleep) until our loving Saviour comes again. That's what the Bible teaches.

Have tried to warn a close family member but it seems futile, if anything they seem to dig in further and be put off by my warnings, as I am trying to build up a dialogue with them and find some common ground, but at the same time have had to bite my tongue and put up with them leading a lifestyle opposed to God, bad behaviour etc, |If I challenge it I am ignored and they are not open or responsive to me, if anything they close up and it affects the relationship I am trying to build with them. I just try to carry on going to mass and trying to be positive around them rather than it seems negative warning them of hell and consequences of living in sin, not going to church, confession etc. It feels a negative thing to do and I feel uncomfortable when I go down that road.
Yes, it can be frustrating. Sometimes we can only pray - and ask the Holy Spirit to guide us.
