    Only when your violin makes that sound 👆🏻, can you hold your bow any-such-way-you-chose, and have your fiddle resting sleepily on your chest. What a stunning performance. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Thank you🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    It is a great tune to learn and well taught by Ian. I wish all the Scottish Irish tunes were taught so systematically. Thanks Ian.

    Not the standard, that is held by johns fiddle lessons. Which are COMPLETE. Ian does a good and I understand that he's in it for the money. But if he had a couple of complete ones I might be more inclined to purchase some of the other ones. He's really the only one on you tube that gives you only a partial A part lesson.

  • @karpdiem2
    @karpdiem2 14 лет назад

    @blackhawk2055 that is a "baroque" bow hold ole' buddy! But --- it is peculiar to old timey fimey fiddlers......

  • @justjoshenaround
    @justjoshenaround 13 лет назад

    @blackhawk2055 haha your a long way from classical ;) haha but personally I think for fiddlers it usually comes down to what feels good and what feels right, I like to hold my bow around the same spot a him, maybe a little lower, I find it helps me sounds for fluent and percises.
