I loved the looseness and flow of this floral. I learned something, too. I struggle with depth and dark values at times. When I thought you needed some brighter areas in the flowers, you added depth with a darker value and pushed it forward! ❤ 🤯
Yes !!..I was certainly inspired to go ahead and use my imagination to free me up... Keep the loose paintings coming..just what I needed...after all all these gifts are God given...God Bless you for your faith and talents..!

Hi @sharonalkenbrack2871, I never spray a fixative on a soft pastel painting since it always darkens the final image. To protect my final painting for shipping or storing, I place them in a clear plastic bag I get from www.clearbags.com/bags/flat/flap-tape/crystal-clear. I buy the bags a bit larger than standard sizes so I will have room for the painting and a piece of foamcore board cut to the size of the painting.
